A great system, but not very modular
What do you like best about the product?
The general ease of use of the system from a user perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
The administrative side of the system is very granular, obfuscated, and resolutions or changes to the process or system are not always apparent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were able to put visibility and structure to our contract process, as well as engage more users in the contract lifecycle.

Conga contracts
What do you like best about the product?
Very ease for the users to navigate and generate contracts; productivity uplift, reporting
What do you dislike about the product?
Complex configuration, and many layers to generate a contract
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping contract negotiations and approvals out of email
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you are prepared to learn how to configure the system in order to be able to manage it without being dependent on a 3rd party.
Document Proposals Made Easier
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature I like is how smooth the document generation feature is. The ability for us as to customize the proposals and customize it for our clients is a big deal. The generation of the documents is a very quick process that does not effect the computer's runtime like other products do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our team uses Conga to review documents and proposals generated by our parent organization. With our SF instance and theirs, sometimes previewing the documents is a hassle and most cases we have to download. I am hoping they are working on a fix for this because it seems to happen randomly not all the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is saving us time across the entire org in compiling all the necessary information and generating documents and proposals more efficiently. This has led to more tremendous business success.
Decent Document Generation Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Conga is one of the more straightforward document generation solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Conga's setup is a bit more admin-heavy than other competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating business ready contracts is a standard requirement, and one that has only a couple players in the SF integration space. Conga is one such.

It's easy to use and has very straightforward processes once you understand them

It's difficult to learn in the beginning.. it will take some time and effort, but once you have learned you will enjoy

We use Conga to make binding contracts for our purchase orders

I do recommend this application. Take the time to learn it's functions in entirety so that you are able to find what you are looking for.
Conga lets things to be desired compared to alternatives
What do you like best about the product?
Cost is considerably cheaper than other options, and the functionality is generally great. Customization of the tool and how it integrates with Salesforce are fantastic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Deliverability issues, syncing issues. We're constantly running into issues with contracts not received.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used in the sales process to generate contracts for clients virtual signature. We send it to begin partnerships with new clients. It is a tool that is used very frequently.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider all options prior to committing. Ask for a trial or proof of concept to see if it fits your needs

Changes made to fields in SFDC update instantly in Conga, allowing for things like contact details to be edited after documents are approved.

The default file name when you download is not always intuitive

Access to generating quotes. Previously I had to request the deal desk team to make quotes, after I got conga I could do it myself, saving time and closing the loop

Conga contracts make it easy for us to bundle all the clauses for different contracts we use like NDA, Work made for hire, foreign license, etc. Also, contract negotiation has become very easy. Redlines and true-up are amazing features. Easy Integration with Salesforce and we use conga sign and Conga composer to generate contract document to make it more efficient.

We don't dislike anything in the conga contract. For us, conga has made life very easy for our legal team.

Efficient contract system with user workflow and contract tracking.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to submit a contract request and the email communication from Conga to notify contract participants of the request's progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not find Conga to be very user-friendly. The interface is complex and can be challenging to navigate if one is not an administrator of the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have benefitted from collaboration on contract workflow with cross-functional teams and faster completion of contracts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend proper user training and helping employees learn how to navigate the system to reduce additional work for contract administrators.
Creating and editing contract is easy process for my organization
What do you like best about the product?
The contract creation and editing process are easy and quick now. This allowed us to utilize our resources on other work. Also, tracking a contract for any changes is easy now.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit high, and few of our users find it difficult to use conga contract as they need to navigate many time to find what functionality they are looking for to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This has helped us by assisting our team in completing the contract signing process fast and easy. The changes made in contract and agreement can be tracked very easily now.
