Postman - Best API testing App
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use interface. You can create your personal postman collections, environments as per your requirement. Can quickly test all the CURL calls -Get, Post, PUT, Delete etc.
Being a cloud-based application makes it fast. Excellent tool to test various environments dynamically.

What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found any cons for this application.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using it for testing RESTFUL APIs.
Simulate APIs calls for testing.
I am using different environments for environment testing.
Reduces time as it is a fast application.
You can also test SAP services using postman.
Good for cost Management.

Good UI and functionality to validate APIs
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is clean and easy to use and provides our team with the ability to validate our APIs before pushing to production

Requires constant software updates and sometimes crashes easily

Validating APIs before pushing to production leads to lesser defects in QA
Postman - A greate tool for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is an excellent tool for developers to test their applications. Users can write scripts to execute requests at the collection level, request level, etc. We can construct a complex request structure in postman. Users can send multipart/form-data, include multiple headers and authorization tokens in requests. The best thing about Postman is we can share the collections with other team members easily. Also, you can sync up your data with account.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main thing I dislike about Postman is it is not ideal of SOAP APIs testing. Other tools like SOAP UI, katalon studio has much better support for SOAP APIs testing. Also, it should support integration with other tools like JIRA and confluence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using Postman for testing our backend application which is basically a government portal. APIs are written in springboot. As it is a very big project in itself it has hundred's of APIs. Testing those APIs is a very big challenge. Hence postman feature allows us to share our collection with other team members and have a better collaboration. We're using scripts to run and test APIs at scale.

- Sometimes Workspaces do not sync in order to work together In team
- Personally hate it when it gives conflict error for same requests they should autosave with different name maybe
- Takes too much time to load

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is associated with so many APIs that finding an right API template is never an issue for us. It has a group environment in which different teams can integrate and work together.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing for enterprise is little high otherwise it is a complete tool and we have no complaints whatsoever with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It supports various types of following response types: HTML, XML, raw data, Js, JSON. Dev team can get coded API's. I also like its collection feature because it saves my time of not to dig into documentation on what endpoints are available for a specific API.

I don't find any dislikes in this application. It is best application for testing

I can easily test my code by using this application by sending required json query through HTTP by using different methods like POST, GET and more.

I will definitely recommend other to use this application for testing this application is best for testers for testing their required services by sending different methods.

What do you like best about the product?
Public network and private network for use by the internal work team, more than 2000 APIs available in public network.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no problems with my API query and search in public network or private security.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Expand work and improve with API already designed for guidance and security work installed within the system.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy way to call APIs or Endpoints in formatted request and response.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. My experience with Postman is awesome specially Postan as SaaS.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helping us a lot to develop new APIs. Using Postman we can easily make a call and get the request and validate the same. During development it's hard to debug every time, so to frequent results or response checks we use Postman.

What do you like best about the product?
Simple and intuitive UI where in I can test all kinds of REST APIs easily. That's what I like the most.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although with the latest update we can use postman to call SOAP APIs. But I have felt that this area needs more development as it is very difficult to call SOAP APIs from Postman. Maybe a similar kind of functionalities of SOAP UI in postman would be good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing APIs while developing is a very important aspect of development. With postman, we can test the APIs seamlessly. Also, the UI developers can use postman to get an idea of the API request and response structure before the integration of APIs with the UI.
Great API test and development tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is I can automate the API in tool itself. All the APIs can be sorted and stored at one place. The responce time is quick and more effective. API development is having multi feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times takes time to move personal to shared workspace.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now it is easy to share APIs data within the team.
