Great tool for Testing
What do you like best about the product?
postman allows us to share and move our test cases from one operating system to another. which makes it very easy to use also it is useful for exercising our APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
if we are from a programming background, then it sucks to be not able to reuse flexibly the written code. and it has a limited testing area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
i test the JSON Rest based web APIs with postman. i created a collection of API calls on postman that we can share with anyone. it is so much easier for all who wants to run or download.

What do you like best about the product?
I think one of the best tool for testing integration is postman. Simple to use and helpfull in testing request response.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I can dislike any feature right now.

Integration testing.

Yes definitely give it a try.
Great API Testing Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Testing is easy to do with Postman, as the UI is really user-friendly. You are also able to organize and sort your projects. This is important for me since, as a consultant, I am working on more than one project. Even if you don't know how to use postman, you can easily learn it by messing around with the platform. There are many other features and great documentation provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the error message is not detailed, this does not help developers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping clients integrate their applications/systems and move data across.
Open Source tool for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
That it can be used both as a web based and a stand alone application and how I can easily copy/paste, adjust and save tests, and that the answers to all questions related to using the app can be Googled (yay Open Source!)
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much, maybe the fact that I cannot have my UI tests in it (or maybe I can, but so far I am not aware of this option)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for API testing because it is faster and easier to use than the tool that my company wants me to use, so I use Postman to find out what I want to test and how and then migrate my tests to another application
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for a tool to test APIs (fast) that allows you to write test cases and also automate them, this is what you need. Integrates really nicely with Salesforce as well, tons of tutorials and guides can be found online

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is an open source and useful tool for connecting to various types of APIs and also for API testing. It is user friendly to test the request and response of Rest APIs using Postman. Also, it can be used for automating API testing. Additionally, the APIs tested by one can easily be exported and shared with a peer in the form of collections and once that is imported, all request response and other parameters get imported.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Api automation feature of Postman is not user friendly and and full automation cannot be achieved in all cases. So the automation should be more flexible
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am using Postman regularly in my organization for testing various Hybris APIs for my project. These APIs have various authentication like header, bearer token etc and all are supported by postman. Also, certificate authentication is supported in Postman. I test the request response of all types of API like Get, post, put, delete, patch using Postman.
Best of all for API integration
What do you like best about the product?
The UI/UX design looks perfect. It is usable for API integration and provides the best service to the user. Readily available on the postman website and free to download and use. We can create an environment of our own as per the requirement, create and Import APIs for free and testing is the best part for API integration if doing through Postman. We can also monitor the activity done using postman so that track is maintained and we get sound output throughout. Requests can be monitored, done to the workspace using the History tab, and we cannot miss a single request.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing, I guess, disliked in the connection while opening the application. It doesn't connect fast to the internet and shows you are offline. That's the only point one may not like about postman; otherwise, it's swift and secure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The connection problem is the only part that is the most significant problem for the urgent work to be completed. Other than that, it helps in a lot of ways, and one must surely go for it. I am using it for API integration and testing as a QA Tester and loving it alot.
Postman is the best tool I've been using for testing APIs so far.

Workspaces, because when working in different projects there are a lot of APIs and URLs to be tested and workspaces manage it very well

Testing endpoints, it is great because you see the network communication clearly

What do you like best about the product?
I love Postman because it allows me to test out API Endpoints rapidly and get results without having to build out a fully functional front end UI. My favorite feature is being able to adjust the headers to mimic different browsers and request to a test server to prepare for all possible outcomes when developing.
What do you dislike about the product?
i dislike that postman doesnt allow you the ability to run multiple post request at the same time to simulate stress testing on a development server.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With postman, I'm able to test out our companies endpoints on new api features. This allows us to ensure they are working properly before connecting then with the front end application. We have found using postman to be best as it allows us to replicate how the standard user would interact with an application and prepare us to patch any day 1 bugs before they happen.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are a backend developer, I would highly recommend using Postman to test out endpoints on your application, this will save you time from developing a test UI to test it out in. It will save alot of time in your development Cycle!

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a fantastic program that diversifies the programming language with great internal coding work that includes a definite purpose of the activities to be developed. Their support is extraordinary. I love that I always have a solution. It is very secure and contains a successful scope.
What do you dislike about the product?
It should be a little easier to understand; the learning curve is high, it requires time and patience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have achieved a lot for our web development department by creating sites with integrated and well elaborated Apis. It is brilliant and gives us many internal coding options. This program has served to foster a robust programming language culture.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend Postman to all those programmers who have the platform for web development analysis and website creation with a unique and efficient process. You must be patient because it has a very high learning curve.
