All-in-One API Building Without Extra Tools

  • December 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
For manual testing, I think it's great for sharing requests, manual testing, and documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman is better suited for manual testing. If you're going to need to do serious manipulation of data (in between calls), you should turn to a programming language instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We did use postman for most functional manual testing and did play around with it in CICD but we've mostly migrated it all the rest assured now and automated the lot. Post is quick and simple, but at scale and for performance I like a coded open source tool.

Clean, Organized Interface Makes API Management a Breeze

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the clean, organized interface. Even when working with complex APIs, everything feels manageable and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the more useful features are locked behind a paid plan, which can be frustrating if you’re just using it for personal or small projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps standardize how APIs are tested and documented. That makes collaboration easier and reduces confusion when multiple people are working on the same API.

Easy to test my requests without any frontend. Collections are really useful to organize APIs
What do you dislike about the product?
The request tabs should be cleared periodically, or there should be an option to close all of them at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing my endpoints without needing a frontend or using terminal commands

Intuitive and Essential API Testing Tool

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I find the UI of Postman pretty user-friendly, which makes it really easy for a newbie to get used to the application. The option to import collections is really helpful, allowing me to import and export collections between Postman and other API clients. Setting up Postman was really easy, taking only a few minutes. It helps me in testing various APIs and endpoints, figuring out responses for requests, and debugging to ensure everything is alright. I also save a lot of time by using Postman to hit localhost endpoints, which is more efficient than making requests through a website.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, Postman meets all my day-to-day needs. On the top of my mind, there isn't anything that I dislike about Postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman to test APIs, figure out responses, and debug requests, saving time compared to using the website.

Streamlined API Testing, But Pricey for Small Teams

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Postman for testing API endpoints and creating new API endpoints for backend development. I like how we can organize, save, and use the API endpoints. I'm able to easily share my curl requests and import collections, which helps me with my team. The initial setup was plug and play.
What do you dislike about the product?
I mean, the cost is really expensive. For teams, or small teams maybe the cloud version is cheaper and also AI is still increasing. I wish it had a cheaper version for sharing with my colleagues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman for testing and creating API endpoints, debugging responses, and backend tech. It organizes, saves, and uses endpoints effectively. Sharing curl requests and import collections make team collaboration easier.

A Go-To Tool for API Development and Debugging

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is very easy to implement and get started with—installation is quick, and you can begin sending API requests within minutes without complex setup. The UI is intuitive, making it simple to create, test, and organize requests. Features like collections, environments, and saved variables are extremely helpful for frequent use and team collaboration. It integrates smoothly with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and other development tools, making it a reliable part of everyday workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
While basic implementation is easy, advanced features such as scripting, automation, and monitoring require more time to learn and configure. The tool can feel bloated for simple use cases, and performance may degrade with large collections. Some essential collaboration and automation features are only available on paid plans, which limits ease of implementation for teams on a budget. Customer support can also be limited unless you are on higher-tier plans.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman solves the problem of efficiently designing, testing, and debugging APIs without writing custom scripts or tools from scratch. It centralizes API requests, environments, and test cases in one place, making it easy to validate endpoints, catch issues early, and collaborate with team members. This benefits me by saving time, reducing errors, and enabling faster development cycles, especially with frequent API changes and integrations across services.

  • December 16, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is an all-in-one utility for API testing, featuring a simple and easy-to-understand user interface. It makes the process straightforward and accessible, even for those who are new to API testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing several tabs at once can be challenging, especially after making numerous changes across them. It often becomes difficult to keep track of which tab contains which updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is capable of handling all types of REST and SOAP requests. It provides options for standard headers and authentication templates, making setup straightforward. The support for scripts allows you to add custom functionality to your requests, which is quite useful. Additionally, it offers random data population, which can be extremely helpful during API testing. The formatting options for request bodies, such as JSON, are also very good and make working with different data formats easier.

Powerful Collections and Monitoring Make Postman Indispensable

  • December 15, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
List of what is most useful for me:
1. Possibilities of Collection creation, which opens the opportunity for several requests to get together and launch them in the needed order
2. Variables: from local level to global level
3. Monitor functionality helps keep an eye on important APIs
4. Possibilities to paste CURL inside a new request, and Postman will parse all data, which allows you to customise the needed data with ease afterwards
What do you dislike about the product?
For a Free Subscription exists Collection launch limit - which kinda not really an application issue, but what bothers me time to time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Postman is a primary tool for API testing, and the application allows me to do this job more easily.
