Api testing became easy with postman
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily test the api response . It supports all the methods like get, post, delete..
We can give custom request headers.UI is very friendly. We can easily edit the api and change the query parameters. There are no CORS restrictions as well

What do you dislike about the product?
Too many unnecessary suggestions. Nothing else to dislike it is such a wonderful tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easily helping me to test the api or create the new api. It is so easy to see how the api's behave with different headers and query parameters. We can create a directory consisting of all the api for a project

Postman for api testing
What do you like best about the product?
I have used postman mostly just for API testing, I am new to API integration but postman is really easy to use so for me this is the best part of postman is that it can be used by users with almost no previous experience with API integration
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, I have not used postman to the core but I think it's one of the best tools to test API, just small flaw is we cannot use a global variable in it. apart from that, I don't think there are any major drawbacks to the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Yes, Postman is solving many problems like API integration and API testing. I am a software developer so it's one of the most useful tools. it is very efficient and reliable. I literally don't know how else to test API's.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most about postman is that I can explore any API as much as I want to. I can see the instant response from an API. It also fine-tune my HTTP request knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman is a bit difficult to handle global variables, and to handle variable scope inside a collection (or) outside a collection is difficult. Sometimes UI causes some complications in searching features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman majorly solves the problem of learning and exploring more about API functionality which can enhance our skills with API testing and lifts our project to the next level.
A fast and easy way to work on APIs
What do you like best about the product?
I like it's API documentation generation feature. The documentation looks very clean and we don't have to write the documentation ourselves. It is so easy when you have to provide the documentation to your co-workers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little heavy software. I use it's app on my Ubuntu and sometimes the app crashes when I open some code editors and too many terminal windows at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to create the collection of my App's APIs to provide them to the frontend developers. And also for the documentation generation of my APIs.
POSTMAN - A Complete Guide for API Testing
What do you like best about the product?
POSTMAN makes API testing very easy with its inbuilt functionalities such as Authorization (to generate tokens), adding header fields manually and updating the payload quickly for each request. Also, with its built-in javascript support, it makes API Automation easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it would freeze, and as a workaround, we needed to restart the whole application. This problem makes time- consuming at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
POSTMAN is commonly and widely used for testing various types of REST API's. The process of testing the API's are straightforward, and less time is required for a beginner to start using this tool to test any REST API.

Great app for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the best app for APIs testing, giving all the features necessary for testing the APIs. Postman also offers some extra features, like exporting collections of APIs, which is nice since you can share the collection with your team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman deprecated the postman google chrome extension, which was very useful when switching systems since entering google accounts synced the extensions. I have to install the Postman app entirely if it's a new system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman gives the platform for you to test your Application Programming Interface (API) and also gives support for passing bearer token so you don't need to depend on web UI for authentication.
Good API development and management platform
What do you like best about the product?
APIs developed using Postman can be accessed using both the desktop application and the browser. It allows for sharing and export of the workspace with other team members. Multiple types of HTML requests can be developed using the Postman interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman takes up a lot of memory space and computational resources because of which it can become slow sometimes. The global variables used in the URL are not referred to by Postman and are required to be added every time in the local environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Development of different APIs has become easier with the help of Postman. All the APIs can be accessed in an organized manner from the workspace of the team. All the team members are updated with changes made in the APIs.
Amazing experience with API calls
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is by far the best product I've used as API tool. One thing that I like about this product is that they let you do your basic work without signing up or creating account on their platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they would increase the number of members to be added in workspace for the free version of product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever a new update is available, an annoying pop up is displayed again and again on your screen, I wish they would see to it. The user should be conveyed about new version maybe only once every 24 hours.
Best tool for Http testing
What do you like best about the product?
Postman Is available for web and desktop, so installation is optional. Easy to test HTTP protocol. it saves user history; if the application is closed by mistake, we don't lose our work. Its super easy interface can easily understand. We can calculate the response time.
What do you dislike about the product?
No support for XML-based web services. Sharing a workspace is a little complicated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing APIs is like walking in the park so easy. Share collections with another person by export/import feature.
