Test your APIs using postman
What do you like best about the product?
It's user-friendly so it's UI is simple to access.
It provides various functionality and accessibility such as saving progress, converts api into codes and many more.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's testing area is limited i.e we can only test the restful APIs. It's not made to test for SOAP APIs.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for testing my APIs as I am mobile application developer I have to use APIs for the application so before integrating I check it in the post man whether it works or not.

Excellent app for api development and testing
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it syncs the workspaces with the account, I just need to login to postman account in a different machine and it's ready. The best feature hands down is generating code snippets for a given api
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike so far in postman, I've been using it for developing rest api using django and I'm satisfied with it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I copy api request from developer tools as copy as bash and import them in postman and use it to modify the request and test my rest api. For new api whose ui isn't integrated it is impossible to continue without postman, I test my api for all corner cases and then send it forward for ui integration

What do you like best about the product?
Me Being a backend developer one must know how their developed APIs work and the easy way is by using postman tool with such a wonderful organised user interface to test the APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much actually as it is already well organised one with the proper knowledge can use this tool with 0 hustle. but one drawback is that I get confused always with all those different authentication techniques as the interface is quite difficult to understand when it comes to authencation headers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a backend developer I will be testing lot of APIs which I will be developing using asp.net and postman is the simple application software to test the APIs and one of the best is I can debug my APIs using postman also.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a very handy tool for testing your API's endpoint. It has almost all HTTP requests available which can be used in API development (GET, PUT, POST, DELETE...). It has a very easy and user-friendly interface. It has a variety of auth models, you just need to define auth details and the authorization header will be included with your request. Postman allows you to organize all your work into different collections to keep your workspace organized. You can convert your API request to code for all popular languages like C#, JavaScrip, NodeJs, PHP, Python, etc. Postman allows you to write test suites, build requests with dynamics parameters, and many more. It allows you to monitor your API, and on any failure, you will be received the alert. You can create a Mock server, which lets you simulate endpoints and their responses in a collection without setting up a back end.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike in Postman except two things, sometimes it is hard to understand the error generated on the failure of API. Postman works very well with Rest API but it is not as helpful for SOAP APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the help of Postman, I can develop new APIs, monitor existing ones, and perform testing to remove any possible errors that could lead to a decline in revenue and customer dissatisfaction.

I strongly recommend this product for APIs developers and testers to use in their organization.

Minimalistic, hassle-free UI, without any complications

Sometimes the errors like ECONNECT, which do show logs too, aren't very comprehensive, so if we could have a command line

I am using Postman to test backend APIs as well as run USSD menus. Sometimes the process feels a bit repetitive, so if I could save some states, that would make things a lot easier.

You can test any type of api in this tool. This is user friendly and most commonly used for api calls and testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to configure it and enter some values manually seperately. It should directly get configured.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Api issues. Normally to test it as old fashioned way, someone would need to create complete ui set up. With this we just need to enter url and the parameters required.
Fastest API tool ever!
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is very user-friendly and self-explanatory in itself. Even someone who has never used an API tool before can just launch Postman and within a few clicks just hit an API.
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the few things which I dislike about the tool is that when you are pasting a token in headers, it also pastes a lot of space characters along with it and you have to manually delete them to make the token valid, I think that should be done automatically by the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier to have a collection of APIs in one place which comes in handy during backend testing. We can also create environment variables for headers and params which is very helpful. Postman is available in various forms as well, a standalone app, a browser extension.
Easy way to test API's
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to understand interface. Simplifies OAUTH usage for API testing. There is the ability to add complex things like cookies to your requests and best of all it's all saved in the cloud so you can access your history from other machines. The ability to create tests and scripts before/after requests is also very valuable to ensure your API is working as intended.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be overwhelming to figure out where to begin

Making sure the API is working and it is not a problem with our custom client

A Quick Review for Postman
What do you like best about the product?
The best things I like about this product are that I can apply API testing using scripts written in postman syntax and I can apply load testing on the rest APIs by running the collection and giving it the number of iterations I want.
What do you dislike about the product?
Actually, for me, I like this product very much and I haven't anything to dislike about this product
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This product helped me in testing Rest APIs in most of our projects and it enabled us to create automation scripts so we were able to decrease the testing cycle time and increase our delivery quality.
