Best API Endpoints Testing tool for developers

What do you like best about the product?
The setup for postman is very simple, and it is also available on various platforms like the desktop application or a website. Data could be sent to the server in different formats like Text, JSON, form-data, etc. Setting headers is also easy, and Postman also provides testing. Collaboration with other developers is also possible in Postman.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can have HTML page viewer in the results along with the HTML code. Apart from this, I find Postman as a very useful tool for testing API's.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Postman for two years, and it has helped me test the API's before using them in the application. The results have helped me to analyze and then modify my code if required depending on the requirements.

What do you like best about the product?
Store information in an organized way.
Ease of use and interactive UI.
Support for WSDL in latest release.
Supported by all platforms like Windows,Mac and Linux.
No coding required to test APIs.
Supports multiple header.
What do you dislike about the product?
Almost no support for SOAP calls,
Connecting Postman with the existing systems and collaborating within the team is quite hectic.
The pricing should be adjusted for the Pro plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman is widely used across organizations for manual API testing as we deal with lot of API testing when using middleware systems like Mulesoft and webmethods.
Its quite easy to use for freshers as well as experienced and is having simplified UI which saves lots of time.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to set global variables and the visualization options.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit tricky to keep a collection up to date across the whole team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman makes it simple for everyone on the team to make sure an API we've built is working correctly and visualize how the data is structured when it comes time for implementation.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman provides environment variable feature which helps to test in a different environment like dev, UAT, production.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman takes high memory usage, which causes laptop restart frequently for low/mid configuration devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Developing backend projects makes the development process fast.

What do you like best about the product?
Using Postman, we build and verify APIs for our clients, and the best thing I like about it is the ease of access that is easy to configure. It has a group environment through which multiple people can work together. HTTP request header and body can be configured easily and then executed seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are not many things to dislike as its a great software, but there are some minor things. The logging of the failed calls is not good, so tracking errors can be a bit tedious. Another thing is the documentation. It's not very helpful and intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making connections to REST APIs and testing REST APIs aeasily. Collections feature helps to organize API calls into folders and in creation of test suites.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use software and has all the features that you would expect for API configuration and testing.

What do you like best about the product?
The team management feature is good
runner is something I find interesting
the pre-request script is quite useful for automation testing
What do you dislike about the product?
Tests section is not giving much flexibility and it should be added more feature
sharing clone without import and export should be added like we can share clone with team by email without added team member

What do you like best about the product?
This is I think one of the best API testing tools in the market I loved it. I am the developer of PHP laravell and I have to make APIs for frontend applications and after making the APIs in PHP laravell I test all the APIs in postman itself. The one thing I liked about postman is all the APIs-related functionality is in this one application so you don't have to migrate to any other application. Also, postman provides a good framework to design automated tests for APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had any complaints about this product, since I am using it for many years, and it's a great tool for APIs testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our company, we are backend node js developers and we have to design the APIs for frontend applications so after making APIs we are testing all the APIs in the postman and postman providing all the features related to APIs so we don't have to rely on other software.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Postman is designed by the professional team and it is the best product in the market till now. If you are a software developer and specifically a backend developer then this tool is the best. I will recommend this tool to everyone without any hesitation.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman has many useful feature sets. Few of my favorites are the ability to manage collections in various workplaces, creating environment variables & branching. Also we can add our team mates which makes the team super productive. it's much faster than any other collaboration tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would say I am happy with all the features available. But sometimes it throws error converting v1 collection to v2. I hope it will be sorted in future versions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a software vendor, we use a lot of APIs and we develop various types of API. So while doing these we need to ensure the testing, collaboration, and documentation are going well. That's where Postman helps us

What do you like best about the product?
We can test REST API using the Postman plugin available in chrome, or we can download stand alone application as well for API testing. It provides very nice and clean interface. We can see response in varius forms and exports API code in many langauges. It supports varous HTTP status code for API testing which is very usefull in debugging.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the response is prolonged, or it gets stuck; that is why it is tough to see whether it is a problem with API, which we are testing, or the Postman interface itself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are doing REST API testing using Postman as HTTP Client. It is straightforward to operate with changing parameters to Test API usability, security, and performance.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it provides an excellent interface for REST API testing. You easily test REST API using Postman, and its enterprise cost is also very competent.
