Don't work from time to time

What do you like best about the product?
UI is good enough, as well as some basic steps like login.
What do you dislike about the product?
For last 24 hours I have installed this app via 2 different official sources (from postman side) and 2 times of 4 postman haven't worked. Once it just haven't started and for second time on one of machines gave 404 for route which exists for sure, with no usefull logs.
So the product just purely working , I saw same feedback in different sources (stackoverflow, their support)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It haven't solved my problems, but created new ones

What do you like best about the product?
Postman has a well-organized user interface. And I have been in love with the dark theme ever since they released it. Postman support many API schemas including OpenAPI, RAML, and GraphQL. It has well-written documentation. On top of that, the Bootcamp feature helps you learn it much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I'm very happy with Postman. But if I had to pick one, I'd say the electron desktop client of Postman is a bit slow at times on the Linux platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman is one of the best API testing tools. It makes collaboration between team members easier and more seamless. We were able to significantly improve the API design and testing.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is that unique tool that can single handedly manage all your REST API testing needs. It has a slick UI, ease of functionality is great and the ability to switch between request types is great. I think it's unparalleled in it's ability.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that can be improved is that it can definitely provide means for auto login (for authentication) like chrome does.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing REST APIs has become easier with postman. Life is simpler and work gets done comparatively quickly.

You can definitely give it a try!

What do you like best about the product?
its has many unique features than its competitors, i like the most is we can have environment profiles, folder view, duplicate a request, an online account to transfer our configurations to another teammet
What do you dislike about the product?
the thing I dislike is the limitations in its free version, can give some premium features in free versions also
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work as a back end developer for a Software firm, here we need not to wait for a UI team to complete their work to test the APIs I developed, with the help of post man I can test my APIs without any other dependencies

What do you like best about the product?
It has good UI design, user friendly interface and easy to test API Calls and we can test the WSDL which is giving request and getting response from postman.
After getting successful response it is easy to develop the same request and response API in applications like informatica .
What do you dislike about the product?
Not able to test more than one API simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before developing the application to connect Microsoft API's ,I used this postman application to test the request and response.

Best tool for testing you API with lots of features

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it supports testing the API with great convenience. It helps you maintain your own collection of APIs. It also maintains your testing history. You can use Authorization while testing with multiple types. You can test with any requests type.. get,post, copy, head, link etc. You can have multiple workspaces for testing. It has a lot of features that can be explained. I just love it. Also you can document you APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't like that it's start up time time is a bit delayed everytime i open for first time. As it is built with electron framework it consumes a bit more memory. Sometimes switching tabs are laghu and becomes irresponsive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly test my APIs built with .net core. I design APIs with postman. Before consuming with any frontend framework i test my APIs to get confirmation of my errors and bugs. It is free so it helps me alot. It shines with it features among all of its competitors in API testing software.

Great tool for API integration and testing

What do you like best about the product?
It is really simple to use, as long as you are using the correct values it should work exactly the same as running the tests in the browser or wherever the API is supposed to operate with a few exceptions, it even serves to detect possible breakdowns when a parameter is wrong and possible security falldowns with little extra effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a way to test things and it works great as long as you don't have any dependencies, if you rely on the browser to have video support in order for your API to work it can be simulated but not fully tested, it would be great if a way to append addons to actually test requirements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Testing APIs for function, security, and resilience.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool for API testing and development but be aware of its limitations.

Best application for testing Restful APIs

What do you like best about the product?
Best part of Postman is, it provides the best environment for testing APIs both automatically and manually.
We can save our APIs collections into Postman's cloud and can access it anytime and anywhere.
It allow any number of APIs call and also saves the API request and response if we choose to.
Another thing is, we can use variable to be used for parameters for API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only dislike about this application is, it becomes slow after having so many open tabs of requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to test unlimited APIs everyday without any restrictions, also best for development teams.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to understand and work with it even with no programming experience and the ammount of documentation and videos explaining how it works for every little detail and feature is amazing, it is really possible to do a lot of things without knowing how to code as long as you read the manual and the manual of the API that you are using
What do you dislike about the product?
It may sound paradoxical but it is too good :) Seriously though it isn't supposed to be a swiss knife tool some things do belong to a code editor or to an IDE, it works if you do it all in Postman, no doubt about it but it is really inneficcient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
API testing, running APIs accross a wide variety of scenarios.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you plan to use APIs Postman is a must have, it works exactly the same as the other API testers, but the ammount of documentation and tutorials available makes this the way to go.

Great way to create and verify APIs

What do you like best about the product?
It has great integration with the Meraki APIs that are the ones I use in my day to day, it has a "run in Postman" button that is really useful when verifying and editing API calls and the collection runner when used correctly can really shave off a few minutes when testing stuff it is really a time saver if you are running several tests for any upgrade that is going to be happening in the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman sometimes crashes, it is rare when it happens, has been at least a month since my last crash and it isn't a big deal considering that it is as simple as opening it again and restarting the tests, but still, no one likes a program crashing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
API design, API verification, and API use

Use the collection runner, takes little time to learn and saves a lot of time
