Used Postman to explore, test and debug API endpoints.
Can do things much more easy and fast
I can quickly send requests and experiment with third-party APIs.

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to test Rest API's for our software and other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to reenter the Basic Authentication for each call.

Postman has all the options needed to test API's.

1.) Easy to understand
2.) UI also good
3.) Able to handle in multiple format i.e. xml,php,json etc.
4.) Able to write own APIs
5.) Able to handle multiple responses
6.) Integrate tools with external Tools like Jenkins. etc.
7.) Graphql also introduced in postman that makes more interesting to use this Tool
8.) it provide supports for collections feature also

1.) If we dont have knowledge of programming then unable to create API's
2.) Monitoring is not good
3.) Some headers in API are little complicated. Need to learn initially.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy of use to performing the testing of web services and web api.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime it does not return the correct response status in success failure even though service is returning the correct data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Its working better than the other competitor like SOAP UI while working with Web API.

Please go for it. Its awesome.
A very Good Tool To Test API's
What do you like best about the product?
If you want to reduce your API testing time you should use Postman, because Postman has all the required options, especially monitoring options. I'm not only using this API for testing, but you can also use it for API automation and send a request local server where you can do any operation you need to do like download images from the server, write API response as a file, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the run time takes a long time but this may be due to a large request or slow connection. Besides that, there I like everything else about this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Postman to check all my API's route quickly, add automation before or after HTTP calls. It generates documentation, can save already executed response for the documentation or even mock response while you're developing it.
Postman One of the best tool for consuming/creating Web services
What do you like best about the product?
The Things that i like the most about postman are:
1. Earlier, we were not able to consume soap services by using postman and now they have added support to it, don't know when did they added but i saw it few days back.
2. The one of the craziest thing is that you can export you're web services request and also you can get a basic code of it using postman.

As of now i don't have anything to say on this, but i don't use any other application to proceed with my request

For any of your technical POC's where you wanna explore the API's from any company using any specification like OAUTH, this is the one open source software which will be needed most.

Overall nPostman is a very good application for creating functional static test suites for REST interface.

Postman provides a great platform and smart user interface for a small project to a large enterprise team. It is a professional software that allows you to design, test, mock and publish APIs. It is really simple, easy to setup and lightweight software. Its basic version is free and provides useful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
The major drawback of postman is that you have to buy paid version, its necessary because free version has limited version. Its not that easy to handle, it needs training. Sometimes, its sluggish and takes longer time with multiple tabs.

Postman is a user-friendly tool. Its cost is worthwhile. Apart from this, it is easy to integrate with systems. This tool can easily setup automated test and also stores data from previous test suites.
Amazing UI and really easy to use tool for API testing
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that you can make reusable collections. You can easily collaborate with your teams so that they can see and contribute to the collections you have made. It also allows you to do automated documentation. You can set the different environment variables and easily use them when you need to. All in all it is an amazing tool it has made the life easier for anybody who wants to do api testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Free plan can cause you some issues while sharing the collections but with version of Postman everything is there and works great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made testing of REST API a smooth process for both Dev and QA teams for us. You can write a whole test suite here and run it on click of a button. You can also write test cases for every request and that helps with automated testing.

the best part of this software is that we can test any API response if it get,post and others we get the data in JSON which is very easy to read it is the best tool for software developer and also google chrome extension is also available

no such dislike found using this software from long time all application I develop I used to test API response with this software

it solved my API response problem I can easily call my rest API and can check the response in it very easy to use and very fast response even we can check third party API with it
