What do you like best about the product?
This is a wonderful tool for doing or testing API requests; it's crucial when you're developing or simply want to test without having to deal with cumbersome settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you want to set a content type to JSON, you must first choose "raw"; otherwise, "JSON" will not be an option. At first, it seemed confusing.
We are not able to see console while executing api.

For sending api requests like post, put, patch, and get, it works well.
Additionally, it has the ability to save answer data, which can be used by subsequent or other APIs.
End-to-end testing is made simple by it.

What do you like best about the product?
The all in one solution for server side testing. Have been using Postman since a decade. Best tool for testing API's . It allows to have individual as well as team shared workspace, it helps when working within a tool. It has the option to have collections to sort and save all our requests withing a structured way.
The runner option helps a lot in creating prequisite data for automation and for testing performance.
It makes easier for us to test all realted API's bunched in a collection whenever there are any chnages done to a feature/particular part of the software.

What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I have nothing to dislike as we use it on daily basis for testing API's. Reusability is an issue when it comes to scripting, but since we mostly use it for server side calls its an efficient tool for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use postman to test the new API request, existing API's that could have been affected due to any changes. Sorting the managing the requests in a collection actually helps to run and validate the API's pre production and even after production deployment.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the best API Platform for getting responses from API endpoint execution. It has many advanced features like integration with Jenkins, RAML etc. It is used for Automation API testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
When it comes to handling global variables, postman faces cons. Postman doesn't support SOAP APIs and some other APIs. Testers need to re-write scripts while creating new projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me when I need to create, share, test and make documentation of APIs. Whenever I build an API, I will use postman to test it. Postman is available in both web and desktop-based applications.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the option to save my collections and navigate public collections to speed up any development and learn from mapped services. It's also great for the feature for variables, it's a fantastic way to test among different sandboxes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have it, but sometimes I get lost between my public and private collections and where I am editing. But I guess this only happens because usually I only had contact with this tool during the early stages of the project to validate some API usage and logic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman is accelerating the learning curve of new API integrations like okta, Microsoft, and Autodesk. With several collections of APIs mapped and Variables, it's easy to test and validate customers' scenarios before spending some time implementing them.

What do you like best about the product?
We can easily test REST API in postman. We can set the environment for collection. Using the environment we can easily manage authentication and global variables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited to a single developer if we need to contribute to the same project then need to purchase a paid plan. The autosave function not working. Sometimes we lost data which we not saved by clicking the "Save" Button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using postman we can easily test and check any REST API. This is the best option to test REST API. It really solved API sharing and testing problems. Using postman a developer can same many times.

Postman is a user-friendly API investigation tool which helps in understanding the response from the API endpoint and used for debugging purpose in local.

Nothing much . We can have more beginner user manuals.

I like the collections features for bundling the APIs, which helps in creating APIs and keeping it organized for easy access. It has a very good UI and user-friendly user interface and is easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The developers should come up with a lighter version of itself having features which are most used so that it can be used in fewer memory systems freely. It is free, so there is nothing to dislike.

Postman is solving the basic problem of API development and testing and easy access of our API collections. Also it is solving problems faced while working in a team by providing various features.

Postman has a very simple-to-use UI that can be understood by any average developer and helps. Any API can be called from it quickly, and the URL changing from live to local can be changed very easily.

Sometimes it fails to add the postman collection we are trying to add.
For example, the postman is not capable of handling global variables. Therefore, when we create new windows, we must copy them while making the environment.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As developers, when the backend developer creates API before implementing them, postman helps us to run the API in them first so we can set the Response accordingly and make a proper API call and fetch all data.
Postman is very for designing and testing API's

Postman is an excellent software to debug API endpoints. The best part is that you can import web calls by pasting raw text or uploading a file.

Maintaining collections in Postman is sometimes painful

Testing APIs Responses, can check the response by passing the auth headers and raw body as well
