Best Platform for Rest API Testing
What do you like best about the product?
The best part of the application is that it can be used for free. Apart from that, the user interface is excellent, organized, and friendly to work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such, the application is great. It's just that it does not support cross-platform usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for manual API testing for REST APIs, pre-execution of the same API's using database against Automation Testing.
One more good thing about it is the setting up of environment and te variable, at times it is very useful, user doesn't have to copy paste the values everytime.

Try it out if you are using REST APIs, a great application.

What do you like best about the product?
* You can manage and test your Rest Services easily by using Postman. Especially if you are a developer and wants to test your get, post or put requests it is very easy to use and test your services.
* It shares API collections.
* You can import and export your API collections or services.
* It is very user friendly.
* You can send or post requests by using different message formats such like JSON / XML and other file types by using Postman.

What do you dislike about the product?
* It saves every call that you do which should not.
* If you are a beginner at webservices, I guess you need someone to teach you Postman. It is not easy to learn therefore I think it needs a better documentation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Testing my Rest Services. Therefore I do not have to use IDEs or implement something to test API Services as Postman is enough for me to test Rest Services.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
* I guess it should provide better documentation. I believe that a beginner needs a documentation to send a request properly.
Best and the Simplest API testing tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best tool to run automated checks, easy to run and develop APIs and the best part is that it makes team collaboration extremely easy, you can just use variables, input files, set schedules. Basically you can make the app do the work for you!
What do you dislike about the product?
It consumes a lot of RAM at times which makes other tasks run slow, and the UI part can be improved a bit, especially tab management, nothing much to dislike here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the API testing and debugging have become a hell of a lot more accessible. Compared to other products out there, it is relatively cost-effective; it has helped us increase productivity overall.

What do you like best about the product?
Friendly UI, easy interface, very intuitive, easy to use, simple and friendly to the end user. No need to be a super technical user. You can share easily the information and folder between uses.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think some things in the GUI should be improved, having it a bit more colorful and more buttons instead of menus. Mostly I like this application, and it helps me a lot with my daily tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can replicate customer scenarios, experience out different products, extract information easily and share my folder and files with my colleagues. it shorten my treatment time in various issues.

Quick SAAS application. U can share the api links to everyone. So that they can carry out operation in their end. Very useful for most of the backend and front end developers to test the api. Even api testing can be done using this tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it is very slow when you want to test the api's in local host. Upgards to this application is very less, yet this is very good product. No cons or dislikes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We actually test all the api's which we have developed in the backend so that front end people wont get much issue, bcz we verify everything in postman before we deploy to cloud. And we generate oAuth tokens from the postman.

Really though to come up with something i dislike about Postman, maybe a once in a while occasional crash...

- Ability to share collection between teams (even on the free plan over URLs) .
- Ability to store collections as JSON inside git and securely collaborate!
- Save multiple examples for each type of API call.

- Cannot make API calls to localhost with the web app (I understand the limitations on why this happens, but wish I didn't have to install the app).
- App lags a bit on cold start with more number of collections on windows 10.

Postman Review
What do you like best about the product?
As a custom integrations developer, I design api endpoints for both my projects and for clients. The time saved by using postman is incredible and much more accurate than doing everything by hand or searching through large libraries for what I need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman enables code generation for any endpoint or api test you have, however, for authentication, postman has not code generation. Wouldn't it be great to have that oauth flow already coded out in a template with the needed details?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything I do with projects is custom, hand typed, work. Postman allows me to short cut the time it takes while also testing and maintaining examples of working setup and code.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like this tool it helps me to make requests to my APIS mostly, it is really useful at my job, and I like that I can have configurations for my different environments also, and also that I can add tests to my requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found something that I do not like. It is great so far.

I use it to make requests to my APIs and test the backend tasks that I get assigned at my job.
