An Awesome tool available in the market
What do you like best about the product?
Making an API call has been made so simple an easy with this. The usability is so easy that even one who doesn't know much on the usage can easily use it to call required APIs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much. The community support could have been much better but there is nothing specific that I didn't like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For every development/testing of the APIs what I develop, this tool has come in so handy to test in every phase of SDLC. It is so simple to use and gives a lot of confidence in the APIs what one will be building. This has really come in so handy in my development and testing phases of my APIs

The user interface is friendly and quite intuitive and the features are very helpful.

The free plan should at least allow the team to add 2-3 team members

It's an excellent tool for API testing; we can test any type of API.
It can work with POST and REST.
We can test all kinds of services with any input, and we can also format output.

What do you like best about the product?
Postman is a tool where one can test their local host changes done to the APIs in the back-end before they get deployed into the original environment.It has a very user friendly UI which does not need any prior training to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Postman needs to be installed as a separate software into your system to use it. The other alternative is adding it as an extension to your browser, which few of them do not support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Postman is a tool to test their local host changes to the APIs in the back-end before they get deployed into the original environment. The responses to the URL pasted will be apt and genuine and assure 100% accuracy. It has a user-friendly UI that does not need any prior training to use it.

Postman is an application development interface development tool. It has ability to make various type of HTTP REQUEST viz. GET, POST, PATCH etc. Rest API testing is very easy with the help of this tool.

Nothing I dislike about this tool. It helps to test API. It is recommended by many software engineers and security engineers to penetration testing of APIs. It helps to see the status code and time taken for response and other perfroma Parameters.

Postman helps in testing of API. It supports wode range of features like HTTP methods, API to code conversion, changing environment of API development. This tools help to build, test and modify APIs

API collections where I can store my endpoints in a structured and organised way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our company has bought the paid membership but we did not see much of added value in it. As a result of that we have cancelled it. I think the company behind Postman should make the paid membership advantages more obvious.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Postman helps me to create a collection of API requests. I can easily use them to test endpoints in our company for the purpose of analysis, defining API enhancements, and also for the purpose of testing newly developed endpoints. It is also useful that a collection can be exported and shared with colleagues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an easily to use tool and you can use it free of charge for most of what you might need from it. I can strongly recommend it.
My experience with Postman
What do you like best about the product?
Postman is the most lightweight and ease of use software. As a developer, you need a test your API's data, and this makes it so simple to test your data. It also provides you a workplace to save your work to use for a redundant response. Postman also offers you a workplace where you can work with your teammates sharing the same workplace.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Postman for a long time and still use it for my work. Sometimes it acts unusually during the configuration of authorization. Also, it stuck while pulling out massive data. However, I love using postman.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has been easy to detect the data request from my API. I don't have to go to the frontend side just to check whether my API is performing well or not. Simply connecting it to postman makes it more easier to test my API request.

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing I like about postman is, we can make postman collection and share it with our team for collaborative development and testing of API. There are a lot of options to create API request with various parameters.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no dislikes so far I have seen in Postman, UI can be improved for the first time users.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the ability to test REST API's with ease. It also saves my history so I can go back and review API's that I have called previously for quick reuse. I don't have to worry about remembering how to do something I did previously.
What do you dislike about the product?
I downfall of Postman is that you're mainly limited to just REST API's for the most part. It is not well designed for other services, so if you have something else like a SOAP API, then you'll probably want to use a different tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I test and troubleshoot REST API's with this tool before plugging them into a front end. This tool ensures that my services are working correctly before calling them from a different application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is great for REST API's but for other kinds of services, you may want to consider a different platform.
