What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use; The ability to integrate with existing systems and databases is very well implemented; Lovely default UI and excelent customer support as well as an extensive comunity of peers.

The licensing options could be a bit more flexible

We're using Outsystems to update very old applications as well as building mobile apps to support our industrial processes.
You can build applications easily, with O11 it isn't state-of-the-art, but with ODC it should.

Create your UI fast, easy to create e.g. a rest api, no extra clutter as in high-code

Pricing, Branching/build on the repository. Good manuals for creating the right architecture. I want to do more with templating, e.g. in designing a skeleton for timers. not up to date compared to high code. The default reply for support cases.

It has great solutions and accelerators out of the box, the fundamentals are all covered, and the delivery speed is amazing.

Lack of code branching is a pain, but manageable.

What is most valuable?
One of the valuable features of OutSystems is the very small lead time for the delivery of projects. OutSystems offers a lot of reusable components and solutions that I can simply drag and drop and use, which has a significant impact on project delivery time.
The integration capabilities have benefited my customers by providing many connectors out of the box, allowing for the integration of external applications or business applications.
What needs improvement?
I would like to see more integration between the use of artificial intelligence to speed up the process delivery time.

I have been working with OutSystems for one year.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of OutSystems is not easy. It is a very heavy application that requires a lot of hardware and software resources. I would rate it as a seven out of ten due to the need for huge machines to use OutSystems.
What other advice do I have?
I rate the overall solution as a nine out of ten.

Very innovative and a good community where its very hard to not succeed.
What do you like best about the product?
Its very user friendly, its easy to use. Also the integration from back end to front end is simple you have all acces in 1 application.
And another big pro is that the time that it cost to build an application is way less then building it in high code.
Last but not least the community is very good. You can ask your questions and you will get fast replys, a lot of people are ready to help.

The only thing was its sometimes less flexible with building things in your front end.

Its very efficient in time. And that means we got more money to spend. Because now we can build applications in less time we can guarentee more productivity to our business.

- Performance issues in complex applications: The platform works well for applications in general, but performance issues can arise when dealing with very complex systems. Such as slow load times.

It is very difficult to produce software that adapts to the rapidly changing world of the business with classical coding methods. OutSystems facilitates and accelerates this adaptation. In addition, the business processes between internal departments are very complex and each department has different requirements. OutSystems helps to ensure that these business processes are well executed, automated and accelerated.
Powerfull, but easy
What do you like best about the product?
It has a lot of the freedom you have like with regular developing. But with the addes bonus that you don't have to learn a lot of languages and it takes some of the work load off of you, with automated stuff.

If you don't have previous coding experience, it can be a lot to learn, because of the many feautures.
