Great Platform, Easy to pick up
What do you like best about the product?
How quickly I was able to pick up and start developing in OutSystems. How quick it is to develop applications, and really meet the requirements of the business using a fail fast methodology.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a difference between OutSystems guided path and Best Practice. You learn how to use Outsystems, then learn how to REALLY use OutSystems
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have become more competitive because of the applications we are developing. We are able to better support and monitor our assets. The applications we have development would have taken years to create traditionally and cost a fortune from OTS solutions
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try and forget traditional development methods and trust in the OutSystems way.

I like the way you can quickly develop web- and mobile applications

I cant mention anything I dislike. I am new to Outsystems

With our company we are going through an digital transformation. With Outsystems we can quickly develop and realize benefits (efficiency, higher customer rating, reduction of lead time)

What do you like best about the product?
That it's agile!!! And that you have a product within short time!
What do you dislike about the product?
The stress within the organisation, because there the product had to updated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are more agile. We have a product in short time. We have a much better CVS for our clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! but first do good reasearch and think about what this way of working means for your organisation. If the employees are use tot finished product, talk to them about this was of updating and making a product better.
Quick implementation of applications
What do you like best about the product?
The facility of quickly develop and implement an application that allows the end user to see how his application will be.
What do you dislike about the product?
Don't have anything that i can say i dislike, because i'm new in Outsystems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are implementing several application in our company that will allow the users faster do there jobs.
With OutSystems we can bring value to our customers sprint over sprint
What do you like best about the product?
With this platform we can quickly develop and improve our solutions. This way we can take the customer feedback and act upon it right away. This platform allows us also to integrate with a lot of other solutions used by our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The version updates aren't always smooth. Even though the community is evolving, not always can we find answers to more complex problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In outsytems we are building the customer area of another application, built with another solution. The way that outsystems was able to fit in the solution we already have was a major benefit. The other benefits come from the speed at which we can evolve and grow our solutions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Check which type of solution would suit you best, On premises or cloud. You should also check all the potential of the platform and possible integrations, because with outsystems it is very likely that it is possible to quickly develop some internal solutions that are currently being done in some other paid platform.
Fast developing with Outsystems
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful of Outsystems is the fast development and the easy that is to do the implementation, it's very easy to implement with other softwares and to integrate with Rest API's
What do you dislike about the product?
The support: sometimes when are bugs from Outsystems itself that we cannot solve, the support takes too long
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are transforming the entire company to Outsystems and the idea is to change the entire technology to Outsystmes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Outsystems is very good. The implementation was easy and the development itself is very fast and the customers appreciate it.

What do you like best about the product?
I like most that it is so easy to set up and directly visual
What do you dislike about the product?
No automatic testing, NO BRANCHING, sometimes (almost) unexplainable performance problems, no options for continuous scrolling

CMR AND workflow system intergrating with loads of services. Centralization of information, making enormous improvement in processes, sparing a lot of time.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Get skilled people for the "not easy" systems. Otherwise use it for easy workflow applications

It's really nice that you can really quickly put a new application together.

Automated testing and branching still needs improvement. Especially branching because of continuous delivery

understand in some case what provoke some crash or efficiency en terms of the platform response

Have a good architect and a strong test team and prepare to scale the team
