Outsystems, a Revolution
What do you like best about the product?
Building a single Enterprise Applications for multi-device experiences with easy integrations to external platforms and great security features makes Outsystems a leader in the low code world. It has great community support with readily available components to extend our applications. With quick deployments and monitoring support, it makes the life of a developer very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it gets a bit difficult to customize the applications and make it scalable as per the user requirements. The pricing of licenses is still a hiccup for multiple organizations who want to start the digital transformation journey with Outsystems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outsystems is helping our customers to be agile and make their digital transformation journey more smooth. We can build and deliver apps in lesser time and lesser workforce than the traditional software development process which helps our customers to generate great revenue.
OutSystems puts you on the right path
What do you like best about the product?
OutSystems represents speed and simplicity in the digital transformation of any company. With the right business ideas converted into different apps any company can achieve a successful path. Regarding competition, they are struggling to remove the "road blocks" that OutSystems already solved in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform detach is not clear. Its supposed to leave the code readable (so i heard). The process should be simpler. Clarify and improve the process. I would like to see the process describe on the knowledge base. Having the detach as a complex process can passe a wrong message to the market as if you go with OS you can struggle to end the relationship. In result less OS customers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are several business cases where OS is great at solving them. Right now i think with the after Covid supply chain is a major help integrating systems connection to partners, etc. Customer engagement also, as many more companies have digitalized their business connecting to the customers in several ways.

What do you like best about the product?
The strongly integrated platform makes it really easy to manage the full cycle of development. It's nice to have deployment and orchestration in the same line. There's no competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of keyboard shortcuts on macOS version, for example, the navigate backward and forwards keyboard shortcut. Have a little more care with the mac version. Improve shortcuts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ease of deploying systems is amazing. Maintainability is also straightforward. Productivity raised a lot in all companies that adopted the platform as well as the performance.

What do you like best about the product?
It is always good for OutSystems to keep up with technologies, innovate, and create new exams for developers in OutSystems. Especially security, which has been one of the most evolved and affected areas in recent times.
What do you dislike about the product?
For this particular certification, I think the study materials were vague, unclear and ambiguous. I also felt that the documentation links for exam preparation repeated a lot of content.
It was necessary to explore much more practical content beyond the documentation provided for the exam.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For this particular certification, it would be great if they would ask those interactive questions after each preparation content. Also try to compress some content into the exam preparation documentation.
It is a very strong and useful platform for designing mobile and web apps.
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about the platform is that it has all the security features and devops on board. The developer can worry about what really matters, which is the functional part of the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I think is still lacking on the platform is a way to work with "branch". Other than that, I only see positives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems accelerates development by abstracting the "non-functional". This makes projects complete faster, while worrying about security, performance, and scalability.

What do you like best about the product?
I just like how quick it is and how fast you see the results, the built in true change that checks for errors helps a lot too. Integrations are usually very fast too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Styling can sometimes be hard when the customer asks for very advanced styling, usually this is slower because of all the components then regular web development. Also Soap integrations can be a pain and requires .net in a lot of cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OutSystems has been automating a lot of stuff at customers that required a lot of man power. It also helps to phase out older systems or to put a new layer on top of them.

The drag and drop capability of Outsystem enables users to create a mobile and web app in the fastest and most convenient way ever.
What do you dislike about the product?
Outsystems can only be use in Windows and not in other operating system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outsystems bridges the gaps between the front end and back end developers. It is easy to learn and people becomes productive using this platform.

What do you like best about the product?
How fast you can develop in OutSystems. Instead of thinking about your code syntax and losing time, you can focus on problem-solving and creating a solution. The frontend is also very flexible, you can create whatever you want. Even very complex and custom designs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are bugs in the platform. If the bug happens in a component of OutSystems it's hard to solve because they are not open-source. This can be a pain point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because of OutSystems, you can develop Apps and websites very fast. This is great if you use an Agile Scrum methodology. The business needs change a lot, because of the fast development you can always provide the business needs and update the apps fast.

You only limitations is your creativity. What you want is what you get.
What do you dislike about the product?
More blockchain possibilities. Ive tried using Moralis in OS reactive but the library wont work.. idk what the problem is but i hope it will be fixed soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All the problems you have with native programming fixes Outsystems.
I work with OS for more than 6 years and is no better technology to work
