Outsystems - A Good Low Code Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate external database, integration builder available and doing deployment in single area.
What do you dislike about the product?
Workflow builder is not available for the personal environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Plugins issue were been taken care if any incident reported.
It was a great experience while doing training in outsystems.
What do you like best about the product?
The community and forums of the outsystems helped a lot to do more projects and find solutions for the projects when it got stuck and the documentations helped to understand many more things in outsystems.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exercises inside training sessions of outsystems are less, adding more sample exercises inside training session could help us to be a perfect outsystems developer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outsystems helped in solving web and mobile applications for hospital, IT helpdesk etc and it is benefited for me as they can be developed in small time period.

yes, Quick development is the thing that makes OutSystems a choice to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new version of the Outsystems is slow and it freezes most of the time. I hate it.
Not sure about the future of it because complex and sophisticated mobile apps need to use too much of plugins which means OutSystems lacks many such inbuilt capabilities.

outsystems has allowed me to learn many new things in terms of abstraction and the development of logic to solve problems.
Front-end Side
What do you like best about the product?
I liked the guided path from OutSystems, Also the new UI of Service Studio it's amazing, easy to use and attractive for those who اhave an awe of trying something new.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of resources, especially on the Front-end and UI/UX side, I think should focus on this side by NextStep/ OSDC Sessions and OutSystems Webinars. OutSystems Partners could help.

As the pressure on IT to deliver more and faster increases, many organizations are turning to low-code development, and OutSystems become the leader in this market.

Easy to learn. Fast to improve. Being able to create an app quickly and with some cool features.

Some of the older tutorial videos (especially for OS Traditional) weren't so great or with the best quality.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to integrate external databases, best ever low code development and integration platform to learn and develop the application in effective and fast manner. Also Devops included with any external dependencies

Some of the features like devops and workflow builder were not available for the personal environment. This might can be given some basic access to know how the process is happening.

The plugin problems are mainly they are solving when an developer or the stakeholder is reporting the unstable things about the provided OutSystems Cordova implementations
An eye opening experience as an aspiring web developer
What do you like best about the product?
Having built-in features that I can frequently use in the development of web applications where in traditional high-code development, would take me about a few hours to code.
What do you dislike about the product?
The preview in service studio does not reflect custom css I've added to elements which is sometimes a pain but I am hoping that they implement an update to this in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The repetitive and tedious process of coding simple CRUD processes, data relationships, and forms. OutSystems handles these things like its a small portion of the development of the project where developers can focus their time on actual functionality while OutSystems handles the usual things every web application has.

Outsystem is easy to star with, but also has a lot to offer (and learn)

pricing is directed to (bigger) companies. Someone starting a business would have a hard time (except for the free personal edition)
