Less time on the mundane tasks, more time adding real business value.

Support for cloud-hosted PaaS could be better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Empowering employees with mobile applications. The time to market for mobile apps has been second to none. It is fast, iterative and more engaging and this results in more successful mobile application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go ahead and shop around - we did, but no other platform today provides as full coverage of the SDLC as OutSystems..

OutSystems platform allows you to focus on adding value to your business. You can really focus on what matters.

Due the complexity of the product you can easily mess up by changing small things, like creating a database index.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not focused in one specific area. The biggest benefit is translating business language into technology.

I like the way Outsystems allows to develop a website faster and with an established architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
Complicated queries may turn your code into a mess.

Outsystems works well with Agile methodology and allows to make short deliveries to the client.

What do you like best about the product?
Low code platform that helps developers achieving better results at a quicker pace, low code is the future, it helps us get to the next step, with the minimum effort. The platform is ever-evolving and new functionalities are out every year, allowing the platform to keep ahead of the competition and to bring the community into that new future.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of concorrent publishing, unable to work in the same espace with larger teams.

Using outsystems I have been impacting the clients where I work in their needs, either in creating new platforms for content management or in new products for public usage.

no code to look at, just pictures and it is not easy for me, started with assembler/cobol on the mainframe. from that going to pictures is a bit hard
