Great support team, after onboarding easier use
What do you like best about the product?
Adverity's support team is quite helpful and pretty quick in answering our inquiries.
There's a lot of customization possible (if you are more of a techie) and in terms of the connectors many are readily available and if not there's the possibility to find work arounds.

What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning it might be overwhelming in terms of interface with the explore, connect and present but over time one gets used to it.
The primary data key is essential in setting up datastream - this means higher maintenance and some overwork to get all the reports and visualizations necessary. the positive point is there are some automation such as duplicate streams that reduces the pain point.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bring together multiple sources information, applying transformations and most importantly building easy and interactive visualization for non-technical stakeholders.

All of your data in one place
What do you like best about the product?
Adverity is a great platform to get all kinds of data that you need. It provides a wide range of connectors. Not only getting the data, but also exporting to any destination you want. S3, MFTP, or even their data storage that can be connected directly to Looker Studio as an example. The user interface is good, and you can use it easily and find all of what you need. You can find an option for a custom report for many of the most used connectors like GA4 & GSC. They also add new features from time to time, which means that they improve the platform according to user preferences.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Some data stream take very long to fetch.
- Sometimes it takes time for the technical support to add new fields to an existing data stream.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Finding one place to extrating data from many data sources and being able to schedule and export easily and securily.
Adverity makes data engineering, analysis, and QA an enjoyable experience!
What do you like best about the product?
- There are so many API connectors, making it easy to extract the data that we need.
- The ability to transform data effectively with custom scripts.
- Customer support is always really quick to respond and has always been very helpful.
- The whole platform makes ETL and visualization truly simple, and we always feel supported when we need help from Adverity engineers.

What do you dislike about the product?
- While the visualization tool (Explore/Present) offers a lot of basic features, it would be nice to have a BI-style tool for internal use as well.
- I would like to be able to analyze data easier prior to pushing to the visualization tool - something like an in-browser SQL tool would be nice for quick analysis and QA.

The biggest help Adverity gives us is on the extraction side of things. We can easily use the tool to extract data quickly without building our own extraction scripts, and also transform data quickly using custom scripting within Adverity.
Effective but has clear limitations. Also a harder than expected set up process.
What do you like best about the product?
Consolidation of different APIs was really easy, it was like discovering Datastudio for the first time but it's a bit better. There was also great customer support during the early days of set up, but there was a lot of fine tuning required afterwards due to the nature of growing business and needing to use more features than the initial set up, but support was available and responsive within 1 day, even though customer support works out of Europe.
I use it on a daily basis and support has been able to either solve or offer alternative solutions for 90% of my options.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI and grid set up is really really limiting, it forces things to snap to a grid and doesn't fit well within a screen width perfectly. It's not an issue most of the time but it looks "wrong" in a lot of places, and if our clients or stakeholders have issues with it we can't really do anything about it.
There are also some charting options that we were hoping for that are available in other tools like Looker or Tableau but these are more logic issues, including comparing "last week" to "week prior" isn't really an option, but we want to be able to see data points like those because we have data attribution delays.
Other limtiations are basically things to do with data, if the API pulls are not set up properly in the first place, I basically have delete all the stored data and redownload them en masse. It's had to happen twice because I needed to sanitize the datastreams in order to put in simple calculation expressions. This is something that can be mitigated in the early stages of implementation, but the people who help us integrate platforms are not platform experts themselves (e.g. Google Ads, TikTok, Facebook Ads...etc) so we needed to work really closely with the set up team. They were amazingly helpful but we still had a lot of issues after the set up process was over.

Pulling and migrating performance metrics from different platforms and attributing sales to different campaigns.
Typically we'd have to manually pull data from different platforms and manually configure the different formats and naming conventions (e.g. conversions vs goals vs results). Adverity allows for that step to be really easy and automated. Other tools like LookerStudio does that but at a limited capacity and we have to manually configure anyhting tha'ts not within the Google workspace, and Social Ad Platforms tend to name things completely differently every time, so streamlining that step was really big bonsu for us.
We also like the idea of being able to verify data as soon as possible, and pulling data up to 1 day ago (to allow for fluctuations) have proven to be very efficient. We also have data downloads stored up to 2 weeks, so if we see mistakes we can just delete the latest data fetch and adjust after that.
New features are still great, but just not being utilized by us with our current clients at the moment.

Transforming Data Into Insights with Ease
What do you like best about the product?
Adverity simplifies data integration and analytics with its user-friendly platform, customizable dashboards, and powerful automation tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Adverity is powerful, it can have a steep learning curve initially, and some advanced features may require more robust documentation or support for seamless use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adverity streamlines data integration by connecting multiple sources into one centralized platform, eliminating manual data handling and reducing errors. This saves time, enhances reporting accuracy, and provides actionable insights to drive better decision-making.
Just the Customization We Needed!
What do you like best about the product?
We are most appreciative of the levels of customization allowed to us to design and build the datasets we need to support a variety of clients and industryies. We have been forced into a cookie cutter solution for too long and Adverity has set us free.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there are a few gaps in automatic connections or bulk editing options that have not yet been introduced. I'm confident these obstacles will be solved over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Adverity provideds the flexibility we need to generate insights on what our clients really care about. It gives us the option to tailor our data story to the client's goals.
Complete, easy and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Without a doubt, the integration of data from multiple sources, such as marketing platforms, social networks, and internal databases. All in one place. Additionally, it has an intuitive interface that makes it easy to use, even for those who are not tech experts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Obviously, you may not find the connection to the source you need, and the issue of costs. It can be a significant investment, especially for small businesses or startups with limited budgets. Technical support, not being in real-time, can sometimes be very slow to respond.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since there is no real-time contact and having to reach out via email, technical support can be slow to respond or resolve complex issues.
Adverity: A Powerful, Continuously Improving Data Integration Tool with Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Adverity is its ability to pull data from a wide range of platforms, harmonize, and enrich it, and then push it to a destination of your choice. This end-to-end process simplifies data management significantly, reducing the need for manual intervention. Whether you're working with social media, CRMs, or other marketing platforms, Adverity provides a seamless integration, ensuring that your data is clean and ready for use. The automation features are a huge time-saver, and we can easily use the harmonized data in our Tableau dashboards for further analysis and visualization.
I also really appreciate how quickly the support team responds to tickets and resolves issues, making the experience smooth and reliable. On top of that, the tool continuously receives new, fantastic features, which further enhance its capabilities and keep it at the cutting edge of data management.
One area that used to be quite complex was working with APIs, as they frequently change and can break data streams. However, Adverity has recently made great progress in addressing this by providing updates whenever there are changes and clearly marking when adjustments to data streams are needed. This has made API management much smoother and less stressful.

What do you dislike about the product?
As for areas I might have criticized a few months ago, Adverity has already addressed most of them. All the features and improvements I would have pointed out as shortcomings have now been integrated, making it a well-rounded and powerful tool that continues to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a platform where we can prepare all data and then utilize it through BigQuery for other tools provides excellent transparency across the entire data pipeline. This allows us to clearly track and efficiently manage the entire data flow from the source to its final use.
Adverity has a ton of potential and great uses but definitely lacks the more detailed resources
What do you like best about the product?
The grainularity and vast potential for this platform.
I love that you can basically pull in any data that you could want. There are so many different direct connections which is something our old reporting platform didnt provide. I also love that you can view the extracts themselves and love the new update where you can see the extract previews. Love That! That was a great addition and works great! Super useful! We werent able to view extracts at all in our old platform so that is great.
This platform also has so much opportunity to customize the reports in tons of different ways.

What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding and lack of in depth resources.
The onboarding for us was extremely loose and kind of based as if we already knew how to navigate and use this platform. We had experience with a different reporting platform but we still needed help navigating and understaning this specific platform.
There are plenty of support articles but when it gets past the very basics or into the logic of something there is definitely missing info. There is also very little troubleshooting resources, it is almost like Adverity wants to gatekeep from their own users and you have to contact support who do have the answers but why arent these answers in the documentation. Like datastream errors, there is no resources for those and they are not in plain terms so you have to contact support if you have an error. Some features arent super intuitive so deeper documentation is definitely needed.
The dashboard (Present) side definitely needs improvement or maybe just more training with your users. The downloads dont work in the way that you would think logically. For example, the Powerpoints dont let you move the widgets around once you download which is the expectation for that type of file. We work with stations and they like to customize and they were able to do that in our old platform and now cannot do that. We use templates in order to make updating and maintaining all the dashes realistic for us (we have hundreds) so they cannot customize their reports without the risk of it getting overwritten. So there needs to be more critical thinking on the Adverity side from the prospective of an Agency. Or again, maybe we werent onboarded with the correct expectations and training.
I would also love a certification or structured learning course.

It is allowing us to be more hands off with the collection of the data, we used to have to do a lot of manual imports with our old platform.

Streamlining our time and resource when reporting on data to clients - meaning we have clearer understanding of marketing and its results as well as using the data to optimsise media, without having to manual jump into 5-7 different platforms at a time.
