What do you like best about the product?
The precise interpretation of the sentence and it's context.
What do you dislike about the product?
We would need to integrate AI and perform complex tasks given via voice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Watson uses the existing hardware and OS and manages to be so effective. Both from cost and performance point of view.

Amazing Tool to machine interaction

What do you like best about the product?
This is one of the better speech to text programs out there, good word recognition. It has nice features like real time mode, custom models, keywords spotting.
What do you dislike about the product?
It just supports 11 languages, so I think it can be improve by opening new languages to be translated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It Converting complex text into a quick work speech and has helped us in automated messaging internally and for very long specifications speech to text is much faster!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's amazing tool for prototyping an automated solution, if you're dealing with audio file processing. It provides a decent proof-of-concept if you're attempting to get more support for an automation measure.

It just supports 11 languages (atleast when we used it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to compare different speech to text algorithms to test out in our retail application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
In our experience, it works well with shorter conversations or sentences. We think google does better with longer speeches or conversations (contextual speech)

It has a lot of learning things included like mobile push, automation and the UI is good compared to the older version

The screen size is fixed, it would be great if we have resizing option available.

There are some word combinations that will cause it to struggle.

For very long specifications speech to text is much faster.

Powerful tool to give your users the ability to use their voice to interact with your application. Also, you can have access to an excellent set of examples and documentation. Multilanguage support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some time takes two or more tries to Watson understand what the client said.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improve the user-application interaction. Bringing better user experience to my application.

Take a look at the available examples and how to integrate this with another existing IBM Watson services.

What do you like best about the product?
IBM Watson speech to text is very good software for build application that convert human speech to text.IBM watson not only support english language but it support many other languages like Japanese, Spanish,French and many more.Its very easy to use just record speech with microphone and IBM watson recognize speech and use their machine learning algorithm for convert speech into text.We can easily integrate Watson speech to text service into our application using Mobile SDK and Rest apis.
What do you dislike about the product?
IBM watson Speech to Text service accuracy is not same at all time.It does not focus on only one person but if any speech recognize by speaker it try to convert into text its create disturbance in text file.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
IBM Watson Speech to Text service is very useful for us for build speech to text application.We dont need to waste more time on technicality because its provide android and ios mobile sdk and rest apis we can easily use them for build our application and launch in short time.

Must use IBM watson speech to text service for convert speech into text.

Specific models for different audio frequencies and sample rates

the word accuracy could use some improvements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Transcribe phone calls to get content of a lot of calls for our customers to help them gain business insight into what is happening on their phone calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A tad bit expensive, but, Pretty good

What do you like best about the product?
The documentation provided by IBM is thorough. The API itself is easy to setup and quite responsive. The output provided by the API is well-formatted.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functionality of the websockets API is a bit awkward to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are investigating its use to resolve our voicemail transcription needs. While it does provide a good baseline, the accuracy isn't there yet for us to fully automate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
