LinearB delivers keystone metrics for dev teams
What do you like best about the product?
ability to view velocity and collaboration
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it went back further than 3 months
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LinearB lets me see how my engineering teams are progressing. Commits and PR numbers going down week over week? Maybe we need to talk to product and clear up some requirements.

Sometimes alerts and reports are incorrect.

LinearB has allowed us to look at change of behaviours through initiatives and quantify the benefits of those changes.
Trailblazing, Valuable Tool for Code Analysis.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the depth and breadth of LinearB's analysis. I love the quality metrics that I get. I can see what projects need help, what teams are doing and how productive they are, and I can put my effort where it is most needed using the tools they provide.
If an area of code is churning, I see that right away. If a PR is stuck, I know it. Basically, I can see what is really happening in my codebase.

What do you dislike about the product?
Want more of what they do! I hope they continue to expand the breadth of reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to look at LinearB's output and see where problems may be brewing, whether in an area of my codebase or in a specific project. I can see things happening and take action before they get out of hand. I can smooth out my standups by ensuring that we focus on the right things and don't focus on the wrong things.

These guys are blazing a trail in code analytics. Start here and don't look back. It provides thorough, complete, in-depth analysis. It

The price is quite high for a South African company to swallow - you know Rand / Dollar exchange rate.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It will help us solve who is busy with what and at what velocity the work is being done. This will help us improve processes and thus make a better product and happy clients.

I can really recommend using LinearB, with its quick setup and valuable return on relevant and real-time information that will help cement solid business metrics and direction.

The product:
- The fact that it analyses our main bus - git, and also integrates with our issue tracking platform.
- The custom granularity - we can analyze performance starting from a single contributor, through a team and all the way to the whole engineering organization.
In addition, LinearB has a great customer success and support team, and we're getting immediate attention on any requests and issues.

Consolidates data that I would otherwise never be able to look at

Sometimes the data is hard to interpret, put in context.

Understanding some of the root causes of your dev team weaknesses. Addressing those improves the delivery.
Amazing customer support, super professional team with lots on knowledge in their field
What do you like best about the product?
They will always do their best to help you get the value you need (and not necessarily know you need) from their Product, while understanding your team needs, structure and current processes. LinearB team is always there for any request/question/concern. The product helps us understand our weak points, and what should be improved while emphasising the team as the persona and not measuring each individual. They deliver cool new features all the time while listening to customers requests.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is a bit high, Jira integration is not mature enough (I know they are working on it).
