What do you like best about the product?

After trying several other options, Grammarly came out as the clear winner. Everything is where it's supposed to be, and it works like a charm. A second set of eyes on a text is crucial, and Grammarly does the job perfectly.

What do you dislike about the product?

Certain suggestions don't make sense, but that's not a deal-breaker. The platform gets updated constantly so bad suggestions don't stick around too long.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps me detect and correct errors I encounter while writing. The plagiarism/AI checker is just as valuable, as it helps me avoid accidental plagiarism and AI patterns, ensuring all my content is 100% original.

What do you like best about the product?

It helps me catch typing errors every time I write. I use it all day, every day, and it consistently keeps my writing cleaner and more accurate. Its spelling and grammar suggestions significantly improve my final text, and the generative AI for drafting and rewriting reduced the effort needed to produce usable text greatly. It also made our team’s writing much more consistent.

What do you dislike about the product?

When the AI makes a mistake, it is only moderately easy to catch and correct. I am only moderately confident about how my data is handled and the controls over what data the AI can access, and it is only moderately clear why the AI produced a specific result or when I am interacting with AI vs. rules-based logic.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

My writing stays cleaner and more accurate, with significantly better spelling and grammar. It greatly reduces the effort it takes to produce usable text, and our team’s writing became much more consistent.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that I can build in the words, phrases, names, product terminology, and other language my team uses all the time, so Grammarly understands what’s intentional instead of constantly trying to “correct” it. As a voice teacher, that’s a big deal since I use specific terminology and sometimes even non-English symbols. Being able to create a database that I can easily share with my students has been really helpful. I also appreciate the single sign-on option since my students often forget passwords and accounts, and this makes it much easier to centralize everything. The punctuation and capitalization checks have always been helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?

Sometimes the AI makes the speech sound very robotic, and some of the generative AI is very robotic and not helpful at all. I find myself editing a lot of what the AI offers. I also don’t really use any of the reporting-related features.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helped make my vocabulary much more consistent in the documents I create for my students. It’s also been helpful for spell check, writing review, and plagiarism checks, and I consistently get value from the punctuation and capitalization suggestions.

It helps me improve grammar, make my messages sound more professional, and save time when communicating with agents and team members. Its suggestions make my final text clearer, more polished, and more professional while keeping my original message and meaning, and it’s especially helpful with grammar, sentence structure, and adjusting the tone for work-related communication. It also helps me quickly rewrite, organize, and polish drafts when I know what I want to say but need help making it sound clear and professional.

Sometimes the suggested wording can sound too formal or different from my usual tone, so I still review and adjust the message before sending it.

It’s made writing faster and more efficient and saves me time. It reduced the effort needed to produce usable text by helping me rewrite, organize, and polish drafts, and it helped make our team’s writing more consistent by keeping the tone professional, clear, and polished (with some adjustments for our specific style and terminology).

It helps me spell-check and make sure my writing flows with what I'm saying. Checking grammar to make sure my writing is professional.

The suggestion is generic, and it doesn't match the tone I need. It changes my wording that I intentionally chose, so I have to edit the changes back. There are certain languages that are not in the system, and it also doesn't auto-save certain phrases and works.

It significantly improves correctness and allows for clarity in my writing.

I like Grammarly for grammar check, spell check, and sentence formatting. It was easy to use and easy to set up, and it met my requirements. Its suggestions significantly improved my final text.

Tone check, plagiarism check, and the style editor didn’t work well for me. It also made no difference for keeping a consistent team brand voice.

I like that Grammarly is easy to use and I can connect it to my mobile. I just have to switch keyboards to see the errors without needing to open another app.

Sometimes I feel that Grammarly is very limited. I don't use the paid version, but the free features feel scarce. I wish that after making a mistake, the app would explain the correction to better understand my errors.
