Its incredibly helpful in editing and improving writing in real time.

Sometimes the autocorrect/ suggestion for names and acronyms can be quite annoying.

Editing and refining my writing in real time, as someone who is constantly writing research or grant applications. I use Grammarly every single day of my life, it streamlines my work flow.

What I like most about Grammarly is that it instantly notifies me of any punctuation and grammar mistakes before I submit emails or reports.

What I like least about Grammarly is that it flags names—whether business or personal—so I have to constantly bypass the alerts.

Grammarly helps me address common writing issues like grammar mistakes, spelling errors, and unclear wording. It also improves the tone and overall professionalism of my emails and documents. For me, this means I spend less time proofreading while still making sure my communication is clear, polished, and professional before I send messages or share documents. It also gives me more confidence that what I write is accurate and easy for others to understand.

sometimes it does not work automatically in my outlook, when drafting emails, like i have to reinstall the extension.

As a non-native English speaker, writing correct sentences is a big challenge, and Grammarly solves that for me. I've been using the free plan for 5-6 years, and it's been a great experience. The setup is very easy; you just need to download the extension on your browser, log in with your email, and it's ready to use.

Even with just the base version, it effectively corrects my typing and punctuation, which helps me achieve higher quality work by erasing the scope of errors and providing proper framing. The initial setup was also very easy; just download and install.

As far as I see, sometimes Grammarly does hallucinate. It could be improved if more proper refining could be done to it by imparting better English.

one thing I realy dislike about Grammarly is that some of the most useful features are locked behind the premium version
