One of my favourite tools
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly all day every day, and it's excellent at catching the errors my fingers make when they type faster than my brain can keep up. Missing words, double words, random letters mashed into the middle of a sentence; it catches all of it. I like that it works in the background and nudges me when I do something stupid. Also helpful when switching tone between casual emails and more polished client content. Wouldn’t write without it.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not love longform content. If you're editing a 120K-word manuscript, Grammarly will lag like it’s being asked to solve quantum physics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly solves the problem of me thinking faster than I type. It catches the little things so I don’t have to slow down or second-guess myself mid-draft. It also helps me switch gears quickly between casual and professional tone without overthinking every sentence. Basically, it’s my backup brain for the boring stuff so I can focus on the actual writing.
It's convenient but not so flexible
What do you like best about the product?
I can fix my English on my PC very easily. I found they can refrase the friendly to formal. That is very handy for me, who is not a native English speaker.
What do you dislike about the product?
I set Australian English, but it's more American English most of the time. It is English, but I find it's not always easy to understand in American English.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I want Grammarly to learn Australian General English and understand the way we talk about.
A must-have writing assistant for flawless, confident communication
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is like having a personal editor on standby 24/7. As a content marketer and email strategist, I rely on it daily for grammar, punctuation, clarity, and tone suggestions. Its real-time feedback inside Google Docs, Word, and browser extensions has saved me from countless embarrassing errors. I especially appreciate its tone detector and conciseness recommendations, which help me craft professional, persuasive copy whether I’m writing blogs, emails, or social posts. The AI-powered rewrite suggestions (2025 update) are now my go-to for enhancing complex sentences into simpler, more engaging ones. It genuinely boosts my confidence in every piece I publish.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Grammarly is incredibly helpful, I’ve noticed that the premium subscription cost feels a bit steep for smaller teams or freelancers. Occasionally, it can also misinterpret brand-specific jargon or suggest over-corrections that don’t align with our content style guide. I’ve also found that its plagiarism checker, while useful, isn’t always as comprehensive as dedicated tools. Lastly, I wish the mobile app had more of the same robust features available on desktop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me solve the major challenge of maintaining consistent, high-quality writing across all communication channels. It catches the small grammar and punctuation errors that are easy to miss, while also helping me fine-tune the tone and clarity of complex marketing copy. For email marketing and blog writing, this saves me valuable time that would have gone into multiple rounds of manual proofreading. The latest AI-powered writing suggestions (2025 update) have also made ideation and sentence restructuring much faster, helping me deliver polished drafts to stakeholders in record time. Ultimately, Grammarly lets me focus on strategy and storytelling, knowing my writing mechanics are handled.

What do you like best about the product?
I no longer have to worry about the one thing that was lacking in me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need more AI features in the software. For example, when writing emails, I should only suggest bullet points, and the software could help me compose the full email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In a day, my 8 hours of work used to be writing emails and meeting notes. Over the last 4-5 years, I have been using the pro version of the software, and I can complete the work much faster and with confidence.
I love this product

What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly does not always correct typos in my email subject lines, and I often forget this, sending out emails with typos.

It fixes my typos, punctuation errors, and improves my writing.
Seamless and Smart Writing Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has become an indispensable part of my daily workflow. Its intelligent language suggestions elevate my writing without making it feel robotic or unnatural. What I love most is how smoothly it integrates into everyday tools like email and web browsers, offering real-time feedback that’s both helpful and easy to act on. It's like having a personal editor everywhere I write.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Grammarly is incredibly helpful, the inline icon can be a bit intrusive. In some apps like Word, it occasionally blocks key features, like adjusting page zoom, which is just plain annoying, especially as I don't want to turn it off; I just want it to be out of the way, or at the very least, repositionable. Also, it's strong bias toward the active voice can be a bit much at times. That said, I’ve noticed I’m naturally writing in active voice more often now, so it’s clearly had a positive influence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly solves two key problems in my workflow. First, it helps me take either LLM-generated content or quickly drafted human text and turn it into polished, industry-ready writing in minutes. Second, it lets me process client work with minimal mental effort, ensuring it consistently meets professional standards, without needing to second-guess the details.
Making the Words Right
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly gives me different ways to explain things or information when communicating with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't work well with MS Outlook email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me create the perfect set of words for whatever I am writing about.
Professional grammar and phrase corrector.
What do you like best about the product?
Fast professional email and text communication correction.
What do you dislike about the product?
It seems like a mechanical rephrasing or word selection. It seems that it needs to incorporate more professional, frequently used words from fields like medicine or law.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It needs to be more familiar with professional words that are heavily used in the academic field.
