Work and Personal
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has been a helpful tool in streamlining parts of our recruitment process. It’s especially useful for quickly spotting strong written communicators and identifying potential plagiarism in candidate submissions. Having this layer of automated insight helps us make more informed decisions early in the screening process and adds an extra layer of consistency when evaluating writing quality across a large volume of applicants.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software still feels a bit clunky. It can be slow to load, occasionally glitches when switching between documents or tabs, and the user interface doesn’t always feel intuitive—especially when using the desktop app or switching between different modes like editing and review. For a product that’s been around this long, I’d expect a smoother user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps us solve a few key business problems related to recruitment and internal communication. Primarily, it allows us to quickly assess the writing quality of candidates, which is essential for roles that require clear, professional communication. It also helps us detect possible plagiarism in candidate responses, which protects the integrity of our hiring process. Internally, Grammarly supports our team in producing polished, consistent written content—whether it's emails, reports, or client communication—without the need for a manual review every time. This saves time and helps us maintain a high standard of professionalism across the board.
Grammarly helped me get an A on my papers and in the class.
What do you like best about the product?
I finished with an A in my class. I am not good at writing, but my last class was all writing. I started Grammarly, which helped me with writing, and I received A's on all my papers. That never happened before. It made my writing sound professional and did not give suggestions from the internet, so it wouldn't be confused with plagiarism. It gave me peace of mind. As long as I am in college, I will continue with Grammarly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I thought it was monthly at $11.00, and they took out $144 for the whole year at one time. That put me behind on a bill, so beware of that. It would be much easier to afford it and the bills if it were billed monthly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It suggests sentences being rewritten. It also suggested any missing punctuation. It checks against plagiarism, too.
Script writer of several years
What do you like best about the product?
Fast and tunable to several styles. Seems to understand the meaning of what is being written.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it's too fast. I tend to splash down ideas in a paragraph, then start working with them. Sometimes I wish I could temporarily shut Grammarly down so I have a moment to organize my thoughts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me find typos, misspellings, grammar problems.
