It was an amazing app until it turned into a "freemium" service
What do you like best about the product?
I use it every day, writing emails 10x faster as I often type fast and with grammatical errors. I love how easily it integrates with the Google Suite. I like that it integrates with any website, as I am using it right now.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when I click on an edit, nothing will change. I also wish that viewing a potential edit wouldn't count towards my 3 free suggestions. I wish it would work in Spanish, Or be able to detect when I'm writing in another language. Other language tools don't integrate as well with other websites and programs and aren't always accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency and professionalism when writing emails and other communications. It saves me so much time, and it was cool to see my writing style and tone at the end of the week.

Grammarly is very accurate and identifies the mood and purpose of what I write, providing feedback based on how I have written things.

I have no complaints about Grammarly! It is particularly beneficial for educational purposes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly ensures that my writing is professional and easy to understand. This is particularly beneficial when I am writing to administration and parents.
Helps soften my tone in my emails!
What do you like best about the product?
It's great that it catches small mistakes but even more valuable it Grammarly's ability to help change the tone of an email. I use it daily attached to my gmail, whether to soften or be more direct, it has several options to get your point across to all audiences. The plug and play availability makes it super easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of yet, Grammarly has no downside. They are consistently upgrading their platform with more tools and options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping catch small mistakes but better yet making emails more clear and concise in multiple tones.

Sometimes the icon gets in the way, and it can be hard to manage.

It prevents me from making careless, embarrasing mistakes. It also helps me be more succint.

As a Hispanic guy located outside of the US, it was essential to have Grammarly help to be more assertive and productive with my communication with colleagues, friends, and clients!
What do you dislike about the product?
I've experienced some issues with the app from time to time, and I think it requires a better design on the phone and a less intrusive icon when writing text. It should appear only when detecting English writing, not in every other language interaction.

Grammarly tends to be "overzealous" in corrections and, at times, can make mistakes.

As a non-native speaker, it is the tool I rely on. Despite the fact that I am a good writer, I do carry some nuances from my maternal language that do not translate well.

Grammarly helps me avoid embarrassing typos and unclear sentences, especially when I'm writing quickly. It saves time on proofreading and makes my emails, repos, and messages clearer and more polished.

What do you like best about the product?
It corrects all my misprints, commas, and connects automatically to most of the applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
It gets stuck in the long texts, does not care about inline formulae, and does not connect to Mozilla Thunderbird mail and Google Docs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being a non-native speaker, I always had problems with my papers and patents submission to any conference or scientific journal. Now I have no problem at all!
