The Edge of Using grammarly
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has helped my writing speed. It corrects grammatical errors and allows you to chose or edit its suggestions to suit your need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Its suggestions are all in American English. I use South African English, which is the same with British English. It takes a lot of time changing all the Z to S. For example, i have to chnage organization and utilize must be changed to organisation and utilise.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Corrects grammatical errors, helps with clarity and concise writing.
Grammarly is great
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly every day. It is easy to use. It could select different tones, especially when I write an email. It always suggests great writing logic.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly can't identify the formula when writing papers, even if it is defined by MathType or LaTeX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me write more clearly, avoiding non-native grammatical errors.

The subscription fee is expensive and not accessible to ordinary students.

Grammarly is like having an editor in your back pocket
What do you like best about the product?
As a freelance writer and content strategist, Grammarly is an essential part of my workflow. It goes way beyond grammar, helping me tighten up tone, eliminate fluff, and polish copy for different audiences. The tone detector and clarity suggestions are especially helpful when switching between blog posts, web content, and more formal client communications. The Chrome extension is pretty great, too (I used it's advice in correcting misspellings as I typed this)
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the suggestions can be overly formal or miss the nuance of intentional voice. That said, I appreciate that you can ignore or adjust suggestions easily. I’d love to see deeper support for creative writing and even more nuanced tone guidance in future updates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me stay efficient without sacrificing quality. I can catch small errors before they become embarrassing ones and deliver clean, confident content to clients—faster. It also helps me maintain consistency in brand voice across long-form and short-form projects.
More efficient copyediting
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly significantly helps me to copyedit more efficiently, which in turn genuinely frees up valuable time that I can then dedicate to more in-depth developmental editing tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
My main dislikes about Grammarly include its tendency for repetitive corrections, which can sometimes be frustrating, and the noticeable lack of diverse English dialect options, such as UK or Australian English.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's making copyediting, proofreading, and plagiarism checking more efficient.
Remove the fear of feeling like you don't know how to write.
What do you like best about the product?
I most enjoy Grammarly's intuitiveness and user friendliness. Also, Grammarly recognises and highlights tone and style, and explains it to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't enjoy Grammarly recommending a change and then making a new recommendation to revert the change after that change has been accepted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sentence structure, ensuring my tone and style match my style guide i.e. professional, knowledgable, friendly, and welcoming. Grammarly helps with spelling and punctuation when I am in a rush.
Writing for Clarity and Efficiency
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Grammarly is its intuitive suggestions, which gently remind writers to be transparent and straightforward in their writing. Grammarly captures how I want to communicate with the diverse people I deal with daily as part of my job. It is unmatched in ease of use, implementation, and customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful, probably, is its inability to deal with some cultural quirks in writing..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I frequently have to visualize concepts down to their clearest components and Grammarly has helped me in defining abstract concepts and suggesting contexts where these concepts can be utilized. For instance, identifying the lag and lead indicators of a company's objectives for three years, and identifying gaps between these two, and suggesting strategies to meet these objectives.

I love its integration with existing software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The need to modulate it on/off in a difficult manner.

Best writing skills and using those.
Useful recommendations that are true improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Fast corrections, active voice suggestion good
What do you dislike about the product?
A few inconveniences - new words are inserted instead of replacing old words, I can't choose correct all on the website and have to click them individually
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I struggle to articulate sentences clearly on the first attempt and make many typos as I go
Grammarly - improves my writing
What do you like best about the product?
The automations that catch misspelled words and recommend more tone-appropriate language.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t have a particular critique, and I value that they keep trying to get better.

My own habitual writing. I’m getting better.
