Excellent Tool for Clear, Professional Writing
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly makes writing faster, cleaner, and more professional. I love the real-time grammar, spelling, and punctuation suggestions. The tone and clarity feedback are especially helpful for business communication. It integrates well with Chrome, Outlook, and Word, making it easy to use across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the suggestions miss context, particularly in technical writing. Also, the best features (like tone adjustment and advanced rewrites) require a premium subscription, which can be pricey for casual users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps reduce errors, save time on proofreading, and ensure my writing sounds polished. It’s improved the quality of my emails, reports, and academic assignments. It gives me confidence that my message is clear and professional.
Great softest
What do you like best about the product?
Better editting suppor than my writing programs, especially for documents that need to be a little more polished. I also find it especially helpful when using a web browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost. The conversion to $AU isn't nice, especially in the economy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure I have correct grammar and sentence structures
A boon for academic writing
What do you like best about the product?
Referencing in APA style is a breeze with Grammarly, tracking references used, ensuring academic style is maintained, even suggesting reference points. You do have to "watch" rewrites though as it can change meaning inadvertently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the suggestions for rewrites don't maintain the integrity of the point being made and the language doesn't recognise the brevity used in business communications in particular.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensuring references are applied and getting first drafts of business documents
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Timely suggestions, easy to use. The Weekly insights are timely and useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Turns on on every field. While it's a useful feature, it's also a distraction.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Write effective emails
Good overall!
What do you like best about the product?
Great to look fluent in English, correct mistakes!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the integration with other software does not work properly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me paraphrase some documents and corrects my English mistakes!
Very helpful and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Made it easy to rephrase and edit specific writing styles
What do you dislike about the product?
Couldn’t undo an edit preference so would always consider an error
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proper essay formats and punctuations I usually have difficulty with
Grammarly is an amazing help tool for writing, it is a teacher.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of using it and its accuracy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not experienced any downsides, but I just recently started using Grammarly. For now, I will keep using Grammarly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am enrolled in a university. I have to write many different things and Grammarly has been my backbone.
My go-to assistant for thoughtful writing
What do you like best about the product?
I like Grammarly's persistence on all my devices. My phone, tablet, browser, and even apps within Windows all have a quick help button to help me write the most innocuous text, from a quick review (like this one) to a refusal of a cold email. Even better, its genAI allows me to speed through emails faster than any of the alternatives. Sure, there are others, but Grammarly is the most helpful, complete and "human-like" in its text construction.
I've been a Premium user for the past four years and will continue to be one for the foreseeable future.

What do you dislike about the product?
The only real downside I have of using it (otherwise it's invisible, so can't be negative) is the lack of memory. I use it to write a lot about my company, and I wish I could just point to recurring topics and have it write about that, such as company mission, software features, etc. It would be awesome to store persistent information, and then simply mention them by their vague term ("write about our features") and have the AI fill in the rest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Small mistakes in my writing; Getting through the "blank paper" block; Speeding up writing inconsequential emails.
All this makes me more productive and more confident in the final product I'm usually sending. I know I don't have easily avoidable typos, my sentences and message are clear, and starting to write is much easier when Grammarly does that first draft for you. It may not be perfect, but the starting point is already there, and helps me to get through that initial hump.

Grammarly: The Always-On Writing Partner I Didn’t Know I Needed
What do you like best about the product?
I like Grammarly because it gives me peace of mind when writing anything from emails to formal reports. It’s like having an old-school editor watching your back in real time—fixing typos, flagging grammar slip-ups, and even helping rephrase things to sound more natural or professional. It doesn’t get in the way, but it’s there when you need it. I especially appreciate how it catches tone and clarity issues—something I didn’t realise was so important until I started using it regularly. It's made my day-to-day communication sharper and a lot more confident.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Grammarly, if I’m being honest and traditional about it, is that sometimes it overreaches. It can suggest changes that take the soul out of your writing—flattening voice or injecting a tone that feels too robotic or overly polished, especially if you're going for something conversational or more human.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Grammarly, I’d often re-read things three or four times to catch those sneaky little mistakes. Grammarly acts like a second set of eyes, picking up typos, run-ons, and misplaced commas so I don’t have to sweat the small stuff. Saves time and gives peace of mind.
Grammarly is fantastic!
What do you like best about the product?
It is super helpful to ensure that my typing is free from errors and that I am writing clearly and concisely. It doesn't require any extra effort on my behalf, and I find the tone check really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a little cost-prohibitive, I would not pay for it for personal use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensures that I don't send silly errors or typos in emails, and ensures that my writing is concise and polished.
