Grammarly: Is it a Genie's gift or curse? Let's take a look
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is really helpful when it comes to identifying grammatical mistakes, not only on their website but also in the form of Chrome extensions. Implementation and usage are pretty much as easy as I quoted above. Integrating with Chrome is also very easy; just download the extension and add it to Chrome extensions. Voilà, it's done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Privacy is a big question mark, as it reads all my messages to modify the text into a proper grammatically correct structure. And also sometimes it hallucinates (meaning even if there is no mistake in the word, it tries to create a mistake) and also is not able to capture the current abbreviations and notions used in the Gen Z world. The issue is that every additional feature requires some payment, which is annoying, as they already make money by analyzing our text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the times, people dont like using AI-generated text for any conversation, so for humanizing it and checking for plagiarism when took reference some research articles/papers, grammarly is really helpful to solve those issues.

What do you like best about the product?
It helped me writing emails more professionally and I don't need to worry about what actually i am writing. Their auto mistake detectors always corrects me and it impressed my clients. I don't need to worry about what I am writing anymore.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about grammarly but I would suggest if they implement ai writing feature it would be so helpful. Also pricing is too high.

Sometimes, the suggestions can feel a bit robotic, so it's always a good idea to review them before accepting.

Grammarly really helps me and my team write better and more professional emails. Sometimes, when we write to clients, the tone of the message can sound a bit too direct or not formal enough. Grammarly gives suggestions while we type, helping us fix grammar, spelling, and make the message clear.

We usually do grammer mistakes and Grammarly finds it and suggest the correct one. This tool does excellent job. I dont need to check for the grammar as it does for me.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Grammarly has been helping me even before AI existed. It has cross-platform support, be it Google Docs, emails, Microsoft, or any platform. It is user friendly and I like how an extension can be added to chrome and it is good to go with. Ease to implement as well and customer support is decent as well. I use it everyday at work.

Grammarly is a platform that helps ideally, there is nothing that I dislike as such.

Usually, it used to take a lot of time to type things end to end, but granmmarly helped me save time and manual efforts. Usually I have had situations when I couldnt frame a sentence and it has helped me the time of hurry. It also helps in improving the mistakes and explains the logic or the reason behind the correction. Overall benefitted in my day to day typing and grammer.

I have used Grammarly both in school and in my career. I used Grammarly to help with school papers and transitioned to using it in emails for my career.

One thing I did not love about Grammarly was accidentally adding this to my computer, leading to Grammarly being used at times where it wasn't needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly has solved problems with improper verbiage and grammar when sending emails and letters to clients of mine.

If I wanted to track the amount of time Grammarly has saved me, I could (Yes, I'm that much of a nerd), but honestly, just take my word for it. Grammarly has saved me days on grammar checking. It's not that I'm bad; it's just that it is so much better, and I'm not limiting it to simply business emails, letters, and copy. It's great for creative writing too.

The dynamic widget can be sometimes hard to place properly. Not through any fault of anyone's but it can sometimes overlap smaller text areas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I tend to write text as a stream of consciousness and don't often spend much time reflecting upon my grammar whilst doing so. Grammarly allows me to easily spot errors (missed words, mispelled words and more importantly, grammar errors). This gives me more time to focus on what matters to me. Now, if I could only find something that works as well, that can program for me too.
