Improved the clarity and professionalism of my writing.
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has improved my writing immensely. It saves me time by not having to look up words or phrases to make sure I used them correctly. The punctuation recommendations allow me to type and not worry about where I should put commas, semicolons, etc. I also really appreciate the suggestions for rephrasing sentences. In fact, I just used it on this review. I feel like my communication has become a lot clearer and more professional. I would recommend giving Grammarly a try!
What do you dislike about the product?
When using Grammarly on my phone, specifically when writing texts, it can sometimes get in the way. Luckily, the widget can easily be moved to a different part of the screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's improving communication and professionalism.
A Marketer’s Best Friend
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Grammarly works as much or as little as I want it to, across any/all of my applications. Whether helping catch little things in a quickly-written Slack message or Email, making recommendations for brevity within my Pitch Decks, or sharing alternative approaches for previously drafted copy to provide inspiration, it’s been an incredibly valuable tool I use throughout my day.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that there was an easier way to simply dismiss Grammarly suggestions for a singular use case like a single email, specific word doc, etc., or “snooze” suggestions for a designated period of time vs. having to dismiss each individual suggestion or disable it for an entire application temporarily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased efficiency with proof reading, easily identifying inconsistencies or redundant messaging, making suggestions for brevity, etc. All are benefitting me in terms of the volume of work I am able to finalize in the same amount of time and with an increased level of confidence in how carefully it’s been reviewed.
A great writing assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I am a professional writer who uses Grammarly about 10 hours a day. Grammarly is very good at spotting mistakes like missing words or subject-verb agreement errors. It picks up on grammar and punctuation mistakes, which is helpful. I' I am very happy that Grammarly helps me avoid dumb errors that make me look bad. In terms of style suggestions, Grammarly is also helpful in suggesting that I get rid of passive voice. I generally like the suggestions, though I've joked that Grammarly and I need to get into couples therapy because sometimes it's like, "What don't you see my transcendent genius at work? How DARE you correct my style?"
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the automated suggestions get in the way of viewing words on the screen. It jumps up and distracts me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I tend to drop words from my writing without realizing it. Grammarly spots a lot of those, which is helpful. Grammarly improves the quality of the writing I turn into my clients. It helps me avoid cumbersome, roundabout phrasing and over-use of prepositional phrases, which are problems I sometimes have in my writing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! I like everything about Grammarly. I was initially irritated by the suggestions for change, but once I learned how easy it was to dismiss them, I was good.

Correcting errors that occur when I'm moving too fast.
Grammarly is helpful for everything from writing a quick email to writing a professional letter.

I love that Grammarly integrates well with a variety of programs. It is easy to use and reliable.

I don’t love the Grammarly texting interface for iPhone.

I am finding that I am excessively wordy when writing, and Grammarly helps cut out on that.
Excellent Asset for Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly helps me focus on the ideas I want to convey without having to be distracted about spelling errors or other grammar rules.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly is a great tool but to unleash it fully, Pro is a must. And that is costly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making sure my text follows grammar rules and best conveys the ideas and meanings I want to convey in my writing
It is empowering! I am not scared to write anymore!

I appreciate the suggestions on changing the expression from soft-spoken to formal, etc. Grammarly is the best teacher. I learn not only new words every day but also how to be assertive!

It is somehow not working well in web-based Outlook.....

It alleviates the stress of not needing to focus on grammar. It allows me to focus on the problem, which need to be described....

It seems some styles of writing are more preferred than others. Are we all going to write like Grammarly in the future?

To write quickly, clearly, and in a concise way without typos and grammar errors.
Excellent advice, but UI needs some love
What do you like best about the product?
The grammatical advice is top notch. Grammarly often advises changes to text suggested by Microsoft products, and I more often than not agree with Grammarly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI needs a bit of help. The tooltip icon often gets in the way of what I'm trying to do, and it's difficult to move it.
