Great for Students
What do you like best about the product?
I love the in-text features as an avid google doc user, helps me to formulate sentences in a professional way, avoid embarrassing typos, and even set the tone for the message by choosing to use vocabulary to make me sound confident, or scholastic. I also love the Tracking, so I can be confident about the work I submit and peace of mind knowing I cannot be accused of AI since it records your typing and gives percentage reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
If i’m not using grammarly, The floating icon will follow you as you type. Barely a space in between the last word you wrote and that icon. I cannot get it to go away, so I have to delete the app as a whole to get it to stop. So downloading and undownloading it does get annoying
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping counteract the AI accusations. As a student, professors are extra tight on the possible use of AI, but i’ve heard so many horror stories about how a students original work is being accused of AI writing
Iron out the grammar kinks
What do you like best about the product?
It irons out the kinks in my writing before I submit, so my points come across as clearly and as tone accurate as possible.

Sometimes, it doesn't pick up simple mistakes, likely due to how or where you typed it.

What do you like best about the product?
It has Mac and Windows apps, an iPhone app, and a Chrome extension. So it works everywhere I work. Also, it works perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like to move the button freely. In some apps, it covers the necessary area.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to write business emails and social media posts. I am not a native English speaker. So Grammarly makes me more confident. And eventually it teaches me the right way to write.

The issue I've had is a bug in which it will sometimes suggest replacement words or phrases and just add them to my writing; it would not replace any of the words or sentences. It makes it a big mess, so I'll need to go back and delete it all.

My writing. I use it as a learning tool so I can write better.
Academia would have been painful with out Grammarly.

Excellent interface, easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I write ideas quickly and then clean and edit, Grammarly is a great aid. I appreciate it noting long sentences or tonality issues and Ive learned common writing weaknesses I held.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can suggest rewrites that lose the concept or have too many alerts about curly vs straight quotes and style issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ive learned to write more concisely, as I too commonly wrote long sentences that hit the point late.

I liked being able to use the AI detector on student work. It was most helpful

Great for this med student
What do you like best about the product?
I am in medical school and also doing a dual masters degree, so I have to write a lot of papers for my MPH coursework. Grammarly is amazing for helping me make my writing a lot more clear and concise. I also use it for writing emails. I love that it's integrated within google drive apps, your desktop, and more. I use it almost daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that might hurt you if you're in school is getting flagged for AI. I've noticed if your grammar is great, which is the whole point of grammarly, you might get your work tagged as "AI generated." But if you use their site, you can see which parts seem AI generated to try to make them more human sounding.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me write much better in much less time. As a student, every minute counts, so it's so nice to decrease time spent on assignments because you have help with grammar and plagiarism.
