What do you like best about the product?
What I find most helpful about using Grammarly is its ability to catch not just spelling and grammar errors, but also tone, clarity, and conciseness. It helps me write more confidently and professionally, whether I’m drafting an email, a report, or a social post. The biggest upsides have been improved writing efficiency, fewer mistakes, and learning how to express myself more clearly over time.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful aspect of Grammarly has been that it occasionally overcorrects or suggests changes that don’t match my tone or intended meaning—especially with creative or nuanced writing. Sometimes, its feedback can feel a bit rigid or formulaic. Another downside is that while the free version is helpful, many of the more advanced features, like tone rewrites or full-sentence clarity suggestions, are locked behind the premium subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly is solving the problem of second-guessing my writing. It helps ensure my grammar, spelling, and tone are accurate and polished, so I can communicate clearly and confidently—whether I’m writing for work, school, or personal projects. It’s like having an extra set of eyes to catch mistakes and fine-tune my message in real time.

Sometimes suggestions are overly too vague or don’t fit the context. Generative AI is too basic. Doesn’t always play nice with Word and formatting is clunky.

Grammarly is helped me improve my writing to a degree that I never reached throughout my education. With the instant feedback, I have been able to understand how to write more compelling and clear which has given me the confidence to pursue greater degrees of education.

Sometimes Grammarly doesn’t work the way I want it to right away. Or it makes recommendations regarding spelling and capitalization that is not true to formatting.

Grammarly helps solve the problem of unclear, error-filled, or poorly structured writing. It catches grammar mistakes, awkward phrasing, and spelling errors that I might miss on my own. It also helps with tone, which is especially useful for writing professional emails or customer-facing content. This has saved me time on editing and improved the quality of my communication, making my writing more polished and effective.
