I like its ability to provide real-time grammar and spell checking, offer suggestions for improving clarity, conciseness, and style, and integrate seamlessly with other applications and platforms
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike Grammarly for providing incorrect or unnatural-sounding suggestions, obstructing their writing, causing over-reliance and hindering skill development, having privacy concerns due to data processing, and for its limited free version.

Grammarly solves communication problems by detecting and explaining grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, tone, and conciseness issues, while also detecting plagiarism and offering vocabulary suggestions and citation assistance. Grammarly makes my writing clear and easy to read.

  • August 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the things I appreciate most about Grammarly is its ease of use. From the moment I first opened it, the interface felt intuitive and user-friendly. There’s no steep learning curve—you can start typing or pasting text right away and see suggestions instantly. The layout is clean, and the suggestions are easy to understand, even for someone who isn’t a language expert. This makes it a tool I can rely on without feeling overwhelmed.
The ease of implementation was another pleasant surprise. Setting up Grammarly on my computer and phone took just a few minutes. Whether it was adding the browser extension, installing the desktop app, or enabling it in Microsoft Word, the process was smooth and straightforward. I didn’t need any technical skills or complicated instructions—it was almost “plug and play.”
I also appreciate the ease of integration. Grammarly works seamlessly across many platforms I use daily—Google Docs, email clients, and even social media platforms. It integrates quietly in the background, without slowing me down, so I can write in my natural flow while still getting corrections and suggestions in real time.
The number of features is impressive. It’s not just about catching typos and grammar errors; it also checks for clarity, engagement, tone, and even plagiarism if you have the premium version. I especially like the tone detector because it helps me make sure my writing sounds friendly, formal, or confident depending on the situation. The weekly writing reports are a bonus—they give me insight into my writing habits and improvements over time.
When it comes to frequency of use, Grammarly has become part of my daily routine. I use it for work emails, reports, and even personal messages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes While Grammarly is an excellent tool, there are a few things I dislike. Sometimes it suggests changes that don’t fit my writing style or the context of my message, which means I have to double-check its recommendations. Some of the more advanced features, like detailed style improvements or plagiarism checks, are locked behind the premium plan, which may not be affordable for everyone. Occasionally, it can slow down or lag in larger documents, especially when working online. Also, while integration is generally smooth, it doesn’t always work perfectly with every platform, which can be slightly inconvenient at timeit suggests changes I don’t need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Even if I proofread my own writing, it’s easy to miss small mistakes like typos, misplaced commas, or awkward phrasing. Grammarly catches those instantly, which saves me time and helps me avoid embarrassing errors.

It also helps with tone and clarity. Sometimes I know what I want to say, but it comes out too wordy or formal. Grammarly suggests simpler alternatives, so my writing sounds natural and easy to read.

Reliable Grammar Assistant -Grammarly

What do you like best about the product?
Whether I'm drafting an important email, polishing up a report, or just jotting down a few thoughts, Grammarly is always there, giving helpful suggestions without interrupting my flow. I use it every single day, across multiple platforms, and it’s become second nature to rely on it.
What impresses me most is how much it offers without feeling overwhelming. It doesn’t just catch typos—it helps improve clarity, tone, and even structure. And whenever I’ve had questions or run into small issues, the support team has been quick to respond and genuinely helpful.
It also works seamlessly across different tools I use, which makes a big difference. I don’t have to think about it—it’s just there when I need it, no matter where I’m writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the suggestions it gives can feel a bit too rigid or formulaic—like it's trying to standardize writing rather than enhance it. It occasionally misses the nuance of tone or context, especially with more creative or conversational writing. I’ve had moments where Grammarly flagged something as “unclear” when I was deliberately trying to write in a specific voice or style. So you still need to trust your own judgment and not blindly accept every recommendation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It also solves the problem of tone, which is something most grammar tools ignore. I really value how Grammarly can pick up when I’m unintentionally sounding too blunt, overly formal, or unclear. It helps me adjust how I’m coming across, depending on the audience—whether I’m writing to a colleague, a client, or just posting online.
And on a deeper level, it’s improved my writing habits over time. Instead of just fixing mistakes, it explains why something is incorrect or could be written better. That feedback has made me more mindful and intentional about how I write, which has been a long-term benefit.

Makes Writing Clearer with Grammarly

  • August 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It’s packed with a wide range of features, from fixing typos to suggesting better word choices, improving tone, and even running plagiarism checks. The integration is seamless — it works just as well in my browser, email, Google Docs, and even social media posts without slowing me down.
I genuinely use Grammarly every day because it saves time and makes my writing more polished and professional. And if I ever need customer support, their team responds quickly and always provides clear, useful answers.
In short, Grammarly makes writing stress-free, sharper, and more impactful — it’s like having a personal editor always on standby.
Grammarly is incredibly intuitive. The interface is clean, suggestions are easy to understand, and you can act on corrections without losing your writing flow.
Setup is fast and painless. The browser extension, desktop app, or add-in for Word installs in minutes, and onboarding a small team is straightforward with minimal configuration.
What do you dislike about the product?
The plagiarism checker is useful, but it’s only available on the premium plan — it would be nice to have at least a limited version in the free tier. Also, the tool relies heavily on an internet connection, so it doesn’t work well offline.
Another small drawback is that on longer documents, especially in Google Docs or large Word files, it can occasionally lag or take time to process all the suggestions. Lastly, while the integrations are good, I wish there were deeper connections with more platforms, such as specific design tools or niche writing apps.
Overall, these are minor inconveniences compared to the value Grammarly provides, but addressing them would make an already great tool even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It also helps me avoid small errors that can slip through even after multiple readings, which is crucial for emails, reports, and client communications. The tone detection feature has been a game-changer — it ensures my writing matches the intent, whether I need to sound formal, friendly, or persuasive.
The plagiarism checker adds another layer of confidence when I’m creating original content, especially for work that will be published or shared publicly. Plus, because it works across so many platforms — email, Google Docs, Word, social media — it fits naturally into my workflow and saves time.
In short, Grammarly takes away the stress of second-guessing my writing. It lets me focus on the content itself while knowing the quality is being taken care of in the background, which ultimately boosts my productivity and professionalism.

Reliable Writing Assistant That Keeps Getting Better

  • August 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Grammarly for nearly 5 years, and it’s an essential tool for writing clear, professional emails and proposals. During my graduation, it was also my go-to for plagiarism checks. Now, I rely on its Humanize Text feature to make AI-generated content sound more natural. The Chrome extension is a big plus, working seamlessly across emails, Google Docs, and other platforms with real-time tone, clarity, and word choice suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Grammarly over-simplifies sentences or changes the intended tone when suggesting edits, so I have to review each suggestion carefully. Recommendation of alternative words could improve a bit. I also wish the Humanize feature could work in bulk for larger documents, instead of needing to process text in smaller chunks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me keep my communication professional, polished, and error-free. It saves me time when I write proposals, emails, or reports by catching mistakes I might overlook. It also boosts my confidence that my tone suits the context, whether it's formal for business or casual for personal messages.
