A necessary tool for anyone doing any amount of writing
What do you like best about the product?
I use Grammarly nearly every day to edit on Google Docs through the Chrome extension. The extension works other places on the browser that I write (for example, this review) and helps me catch any typos or grammatical errors. I work as an editor, so go through high volumes of written content and can say for a fact that Grammarly saves so much time and greatly improves the work that I do.
I have occasionally used it in Microsoft Word. The core functionality is the same, but I prefer how it is with the Chrome extension in Google Docs.
The ability to set preferences and build a word library is also huge. We have several editors on our staff so making sure that our content has the same style regardless of who has edited it is important.

What do you dislike about the product?
On some web pages (some blogs, I think, for example), the extension flags errors in content that I haven't written. This can be a bit annoying, but it's also easy to turn the extension off on those pages.
If you follow all of the suggested edits (mainly the blue ones), it can suck any character out of the piece of writing (because everything starts to sound proper and polished - which can sometimes strip the humanity from the writing. Obviously, its easy to ignore suggestions (either by actually just ignoring them, or hitting the ignore button) but I find that the ignore button doesn't always stay ignored (usually when I refresh the browser or come back later, suggestions that I have previously "ignored" come back. Again, not a huge issue, but the perfectionist in my gets annoyed when it tells me there are still things to improve.

Some handy suggestions although some are a bit over the top.
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of helpful suggestions, and it also helps me to locate spelling & grammatical errors quickly before I proofread.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the suggestions are a bit over the top. For example, if I type 'I look forward to hearing back from you soon,' it suggests a change like 'I am excited to hear back from you soon.' Also, sometimes the suggestions contradict each other, and I end up accepting suggestions based on suggestions that I have already accepted. So, it gets a bit inefficient if I change the sentence two or three times.

What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to check my work on the go, and I love the stat update emails, breaking records and keeping streaks. It's easy to install and works right away. I use it every day.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, it doesn't pop up when I need it to or blocks text when I want it to get out of the way. Some programs show an error to fix it, but when I select it and ask it to change, it won't change; the error stays, and I have to manually retype it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Peace of mind, correcting errors, helping me to learn from mistakes or fast typing.
Pretty decent
What do you like best about the product?

Life Saver
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has become a lifesaver for me as I cope with my dyslexia and workload.
Before using it, I struggled with sentence structure and punctuation, which made the QA process a nightmare.
Since I started using Grammarly, I’ve received comments on how good my reports are and how well they read.
Without Grammarly, I wouldn't have made these improvements. It also supports my understanding of written English concepts significantly better.

What do you dislike about the product?
I have not yet found anything significant about the issue. As we report on Excel, Grammarly does struggle to format when suggestions pop up.. but it uses the web base and copies and paste into Excel.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?

The app's integration across platforms—like browsers, Microsoft Word, and mobile—makes it incredibly convenient for any writing task. The tone detector and advanced writing insights are especially helpful for achieving the desired communication style.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, it can be a bit slow, especially when working with large documents, leading to occasional lags or freezes. It also feel overwhelming with too many suggestions at once, making it challenging to sift through what’s most important. Some of its suggestions can feel repetitive or overly formal, which doesn’t always suit casual writing.
