A daily staple -- but increasingly glitchy
What do you like best about the product?
Happy it's now available in Google Docs!
What do you dislike about the product?
Feel like as its added more features; its gotten more glitchy. You can say ignore a recommendation or "error" and it'll still keep the underline. It'll also do this weird thing where it'll sometimes highlight an error, then it'll disappear, but if you hover over the text, it'll come back. I imagine it's because the the tool is analyzing new updates, but it does result in a confusing UX.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me keep my writing "clean," catching typos or grammatical errors and identifying opportunities to improve my flow.
It has help me improve my tone.
What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly and accessible to everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like I can't remove their icon; so I need to move it constantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consistency in my writing.
Efficiently crafting professional responses
What do you like best about the product?
Editing is quick and close. The hovering icon allows quick editing, and the AI prompts have assisted in creating communication in much less time than it would take me to generate manually.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the icon disappears (I assume there is a conflict with other running tools like Microsoft Editor). When you rely on the tool to be available, it is frustrating when it isn't accessible. On very large documents, the editing icon isn't available until Grammarly finishes the entire document.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The length of time to craft professional communication and convey thoughts properly. Using Grammarly cuts the editing time by 90%. It catches many errors, not only in spelling but also in grammar and flow.
Grammar rules have definitely changed over the years.
What do you like best about the product?
It helps me to relay my intended messaging more gracefully.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly is on constantly, and sometimes, I just need to write a quick message so I can move on to the next task. However, I can't do that as quickly anymore because I have to be mindful of the Grammarly corrections and suggestions that will be made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me express myself more effectively. When I read some of my emails again, it makes me feel like a professional wordsmith.

The limited free version only covers the basics. To get to the good features, you need to upgrade. However, that is usually how it is with any good software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly solves for grammar, spelling, punctuation, tone, vocab, and a ton of other normal writing challenges that all business folks face. Grammarly automatically detects errors and suggests corrections to them. Plus, with the upgraded features, I can see how my tone, word choice, and formality could be adjusted to make sure I sound the way I want to sound in my writing.

Grammarly has really upped my email game. I am a more confident communicator now.

I sometimes don't like the suggestions and it's easy to "dismiss" but I wish the dismiss would disappear for good.

Occasionally, Grammarly's interface can be obstructive, especially in some tools where dismissing the suggestions is tricky, which sometimes impacts usability and visibility.

Grammarly helps us streamline proofreading by catching errors and suggesting improvements instantly, saving time and reducing the need for multiple editing rounds. It ensures consistent, polished communication across our team, maintaining a high standard in both internal and external content. Additionally, its integration across various platforms allows for seamless use, benefiting us by enhancing overall efficiency and accuracy in our written work.

I don't love the design; I believe it could be clearer.
