Helpful For Each Team Member
What do you like best about the product?
We love that we an all use it on our own devices - it is an individual, yet cohesive experience. It is always there for each of us in the background, no matter what program we're working in (for the most part, sans Adobe)
What do you dislike about the product?
We would like to be able to set a brand tone in advance rather than have it "observe" our tone over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- using AI when stuck (ie. writing a thank you note)
- always checking right behind us
- always checking right behind us
Grammarly catches mistakes that you didn't know you have!
What do you like best about the product?
It allows you to change the tone, which allows for different writing styles.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is too heavy on comma usage. When you use the suggestion, it removes hyperlinks that you may have inserted into the text.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps to make my writing more consistent and fluid. It uses the tone that I choose so that it is formal, casual, or friendly. It also catches typos and common mis-use of words such as whether or rather.
Grammarly Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Grammarly adapts/learns my writing to allow me to make my documents clear and concise. It is installed on all my devices, so I use it all the time, and it is part of my everyday experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've had Grammarly for a while, and they changed the access. I loved it when there was a way to install it as an add-in in Word and Outlook.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It ensures that I clarify my message.
Grammerly has helped me with my writing and grammar skills!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it is integrated with all the apps that I use on a daily basis. Several other tools require that I copy the text out of the body of the document into their tool to spell or grammar check. Grammarly's integration into these existing tools allows me to see and edit suggested changes without having to leave the document being written, allowing for much more productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost for business licenses makes it a bit difficult to get approval for global use in our organization. Unfortunately due to that, I believe I am about to lose my ability to use Grammarly. But hands down it is my preferred favorite, so I keep promoting it in hopes that we will actually purchase a company license for it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As my manager worded it, "you need to use Grammarly to remove the North Carolina from your writing." Using Grammarly allows me to feel more confident in my business writing.
The Best Grammar Assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I really like grammar to correct my grammar errors but it is more helpful to show you how or why the change was necessary.
I also love the emails with a total word count, new words that were used, and the common errors I made.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that I didn't have to transfer my paper to the site to have it checked for missed citations or plagiarism.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Correcting my grammar and improving my vocabulary. It helps with my citations and getting better scores on my papers.
AI Grammar
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is extremely easy to use! It improves almost every email I send. I love the suggestions.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could choose individual sentences to revise
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me write more efficient, professional emails. It catches silly mistakes.
Grammarly can be overly invasive
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it catches my errors and ensures my emails are grammatically correct. I appreciate that it catches a lot of mistakes I make and I like learning what makes better grammar, as it seems I've gotten a little rusty in some more nuanced grammar rules.
I also like how it catches tone that is lacking confidence, as that is an issue I have. I really appreciate that feature.
It's helpful (when I can get the settings to allow me to) to turn Grammarly off for a session in Google Docs, because often it's finding errors in my client's text and I don't need to spend time ensuring their text is perfect, as they are just giving me direction and grammar isn't our concern in that context.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like how it isn't able to learn the lingo of my job. It's constantly trying to update entire sentences when really only one part of what I typed is grammatically incorrect. So I have to manually add in the corrections so it doesn't put "the" in front of the word "population" as it sounds really awkward when we're talking about populating a website and population is a stage in our process. But it also treats my colleague's name (which is a verb) as a verb instead of a proper noun when it's capitalized.
I also wish I could more easily turn it off. I do training via Zoom and it's frustrating when it's highlighting all this text as it distracts from what I'm teaching. The "turn off for this session" or "turn off Grammarly for 1 hour" is sometimes hard to access. I'd like that to be easier to quickly turn off.
Basically I wish it could learn my dismissals of recommendations more often.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me better understand some more nuanced grammar error I've been making. I also appreciate the tone-policing when it lets me know I could sound more confident. It's not always appropriate, but I more often than not accept the suggested change. As a woman my work emails can sometimes initially come off as lacking confidence, and Grammarly has helped me improve my confident tone.
Grammarly helps our team looks its best and be more efficient.
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is simple to use and it is nice to have it checking our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
The bubble that pops up can get in the way and slow things down sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We produce a lot of content and Grammarly helps double check our writing and assist with keeping our voice consistent.
