Grammarly - keeping my grammar in check
What do you like best about the product?
As a Communications Specialist who deals with a huge load of writing materials on a daily basis, I have refined my skills in speed typing. Grammarly has been able to keep up with me so far, offering good suggestions and making them visible enough so I don't miss them while speeding through a writing task. Also, Grammarly offers suggestion on how to change the tone of voice based on your pre-set settings - this has helped me inject a more casual tone of voice across my writing when needed. Having been working for the corporate sector for many years now, a formal tone of voice has been deeply embedded in me so I really appreciate Grammarly's support in this.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it still marks British English spellings as errors across my writings, even after I have set my default as British English. Additionally, the placement of the Grammarly floating icon can get a little annoying, it will only stick to certain parts of the screen. I've also noticed that when sharing screen in a video call, the floating icon creates a grey box around it (invivisble to me but visible to people on the other side of the call), blocking a large part of my screen. I will have to manually turn Grammarly off when I am on a video call to avoid this from happening.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's reducing the need for me to seek an external online platform to manually proofread my work. I write on a daily basis so this significantly reduces my time to produce quality content.
Amazing but an all inclusive app or Chatbot would be amazing!
What do you like best about the product?
Best, is the "create document feature" which it is a one-stop shop for all things writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see better integrations with fewer glitches, and the ability to override other programs' built-in products. A great for instance is WIX website designer. They over AI writing, and it overrides the Grammarly plugin. Grammarly is a better writer and makes my job easier - except when I have to leave Wix to go into the "create document" feature.
The same goes for Outlook. It's glitchy. Outlook has many platforms and I can only access Grammarly through the online version - for obvious reasons. With that, sometimes, and depending on the type of reply "reply" "reply all", or "forward" Grammarly doesn't recognize this as a typing response box and does offer the "rewrite" tool.
I also find that the options and prompts chance with the rewrite tool. There are never the same options up top. I understand that the idea is to help creative writing and so they program reacts to the text at hand. However - we are still human, and tend to be stuck in the ways that work for us. I want to see my common options up top ..."rewrite in my voice", "make is sound empathetic" etc.
Lastly - for the love of AI make my voice multi-purposeful. My career voice, my non-profit voice, and my Momma voice are so different. Having to re-set the tool every time is frustrating and time-consuming, Such an easy add-on! Multi-Voice

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a learning and reading disorder - as well as ADD. A few things are happening: Grammarly allows me to write as much as I want, and then use their tool to narrow down what it is I really mean to say - and I am already saying - but in fewer words. Grammarly has done in 6 months what took 30 years. I find myself accessing my executive function (brain) far faster than in the past. Able to get to my point in fewer words.
Grammarly Review
What do you like best about the product?
I like Grammarly for the insights it offers me in writing. I also like that it helps me grade plagiarism in students' papers. I use Grammarly daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything I don't like about Grammarly. I find it easy to use and helpful for grading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me check for plagiarism in student papers. It also helps me be clearer and more concise when I am writing emails and other writings for work and personal use.
Grammarly is a time saver and a teacher.
What do you like best about the product?
Startup and integration across multiple apps was really quick. I am using the product daily across multiple apps. Already, I have found that the consistency of suggestions have made it easy for me to spot those same items on my own. As someone who writes content daily, from emails to blogs and reports, Grammarly is a big time saver and teacher.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Grammarly wants to add an apostrophe when none is needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have done a lot in writing without the Oxford comma (last in a series), but now I need to use the Oxford. Grammarly is helping me spot the commas I miss.
Grammarly is also a great complement to the Editor in Microsoft Word, as each one finds different things.

GAME Changer
What do you like best about the product?
It is a game changer for students like be because it is already a full package of academic tools from checking my papers, checking plagiarism tendencies and I really loved the new additional feature of AI because it helps me to fill the gaps of finding the right english as a non-english main language speaker.
What do you dislike about the product?
None so far. Grammarly is accessible in any platforms. I can use it on my phone, pc and tablet and there are no suggestions for improvements so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a undergrad student, it helps me give the best ideas that I have. When I first used the grammarly app, I was not using some translators anymore found online because it also thought me to construct the proper way as it shows suggestions and non intrusive alternatives of my writing.
It has been a great experience.

What do you like best about the product?
As a Customer Service Manager, I need to make sure that my responses are filtered depending on the customer's concern. And we get a lot of email messages in a day. I use Grammarly on a daily basis, and it's turned on the moment is turned on! :) Thinking or crafting responses especially for repetitive concerns, drains me. But with the help of Grammarly, it makes my life easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I would ask Grammarly to improve is the fact that it's take a while to load, and there are times when I encounter error when asking for suggestions. Aside from that, everything is perfect!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me rephrase my previous answers to sticky customers. They are very helpful, helps me not to think too much on what to respond.
Grammarly is the GOAT
What do you like best about the product?
It improves the tone of my communication to be more positive whilst teaching me more about punctuation and grammar.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can slow down your computer significantly, which is why I didn't use it for a while
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me craft more confident and positive emails. I am reminded to remove things like "I think..." and "if that's OK" and replace them with "This is...". It makes me sound more confident and reminds me to back myself in communications where I know my stuff!
