Helpful and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use having in the background, most suggestions are helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some specific language we use gets noted every time as an error, it hasn't learned our industry specific language patterns
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's just improving my language and proofreading my work if I don't have anyone else to look at it.
Game changer
What do you like best about the product?
Have been using a corporate Grammarly account for a short while, and wow—game changer. I'm using it across email, Word, Excel, and more all day. Having our brand guidelines embedded is so beneficial. I've also simplified so much of my writing, have become more succinct especially. Not going to lie, I'm a little panicked the plug-in isn't working during this product review!
What do you dislike about the product?
- I went in circles with install on my Macbook for the corporate account (but troubleshooting info was pretty useful to make it happen in the end).
- The bubble that appears for the plug-in is a bit limited in terms of location options within your screen/view.
- Some nuances from our brandguidelines aren't perfect, so you definitely have to pay attention to some of those suggestions.

Improving clarity in my internal communications and brand adherence in my marketing copy.

I really like how it reviews my writing and suggests ideas to make it easier to understand what I am trying to say. It corrects my spelling and the suggestions it recommends still make it sound like my writing style.

Sometimes it doesn't fix the corrections.

It helps with spelling mistakes. It benefits me because I make a lot of them.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Grammarly learns our writing style and suggests word or phrase changes so we can sound more positive. Sharing this resource with other teammates who do not have a professional writing background helps elevate the material produced by our entire organization. I use Grammarly for all my writing needs- grants, policies/procedures, filling out responses on websites, etc. It was easy to add the tool to my internet browser so it's always working!

I wish there were options for nonprofits to add additional team members or pay a small rate to grow the number of people who could utilize the service.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Checking for mistakes in spelling and grammar, rewording sentences for easier understanding, and paraphrasing wordy sentences. Saves me time by checking my work while I'm writing.
Waste of money
What do you like best about the product?
Useless, you can are OK with changing the same sentence over and over again.

They offered me money to write a review and didn't pay when I wrote it. So I updated my review.

Very helpful tool
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has dramatically improved the quality of the writing amongst our staff and decreased the time supervisors need to review and revise documents. I especially like that you can tailor the suggestions based on your audience and that it offers suggestions for consistency and clarity. The new AI suggestions are also very cool, and it is helpful to have it integrated vs. a separate application.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly doesn't seem to work well in documents with tracked changes - at least for Google Docs, it has a hard time detecting text that has been deleted.

Improving the writing of our staff members for internal and external communications.
It is a great tool when you don't speak or use english often

I like that is an easy to use tool. It has recommendations based on who you are writing for and also have the option to provide synonyms when you are writing.

Sometimes it would give you a hint telling you to change a phrase but does not provide with any examples to do it.

Well i'm not a native english speaker, so it helps a lot to write documents in english for my clients.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the recommendations/suggestions! I can either use them or they steer me in a new direction to put my spin on what I'm trying to say. I use it every day - whether it's for personal, educational, or professional use. I can apply it to anything I'm working on!
It's easy to use within any and all platforms - VERY user-friendly! I highly recommend it to ANYONE!

Not a thing - as you can choose to use its recommendations or not. It's still the user's choice, but what an incredible tool!
