While I am actually a good writer, Grammarly makes me better.
What do you like best about the product?
I greatly appreciate the way it recommends structural syntax changes. I also cannot tell you the number of times it has caught errors that I had in my draft.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've been using Grammarly for about 3 years, and there is truly nothing that I dislike about Grammarly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly assists in structural syntax suggestions and catches any errors that I might have. I don't always accept Grammarly's recommendations, but I do about 80% of the time. I can stand it when, in the past, I've sent an email to an important client only to re-read it later and find a spelling error or missing word. This no longer happens with Grammarly.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how it edits my emails, papers, letters, etc. on different platforms. I added the Grammarly widget to my laptop and now I can get live edits of my emails via Outlook or Gmail and other writing documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without a paid version, you have to copy and paste your writing into the website.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I often have a lot of misspellings and grammar issues in my writing. Having an extra set of "eyes" on my writing is helpful. It helps me rewrite sentences and stop repetition. My writing is more precise and concise now.

The most noteworthy aspect of the aforementioned is the existence of diverse sentence constructions that promote the practice of rephrasing.
What do you dislike about the product?
My Word file slows down with Grammarly, sometimes forcing me to stop using it.

I reviewed my writing to avoid mistakes and improve my writing skills.

I love that it helps me write better and sound better in emails and other correspondence. The suggestions are spot on and improve my writing to make it more succinct. It is an awesome tool!

Nothing really- sometimes there are a lot of suggestions in a document- but I know I will write better with them

- The passive voice flag doesn't give what suggestion should be there instead

Grammarly checks my spelling/grammar AND makes my writing easier to understand

Sometimes, my settings are not wanted, which is frustrating when I simply take notes, brainstorm, and write a first draft story.
Sometimes, the writing style Grammarly is set up for is unsuitable for the task, and it is frustrating to explore the settings menu again. This often leads to losing focus or inspiration, or I simply live with the frustration and lose the enjoyment in the writing experience simply to get the job done.
The ease of use is decent but feels restrictive despite the many available features.
A quick access settings menu, perhaps attached to the annoying Grammarly icon that shows up on the screen making, is far more useful.
Idea: use the keyboard for quick settings changes - SHIFT + Up or Down keys could change to one of many preset writing styles, custom presets and turn Grammarly on/off.

Spelling and Grammar are my main concerns.
Clarity is secondary, but I find Grammarly useful for this most of the time, but it is not always in line with my intended message.
Styles can be useful, but most often, I prefer my own style and would like a way to use AI to identify my own writing styles and teach me about them, perhaps, in comparison to similar styles.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the weekly reports that remind me of my common errors and encourage me with statistics about how I compare to other Grammarly users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like when the pop-ups cover up my word processing program and I can't figure out how to move them or get rid of them without disabling Grammarly.

Grammarly is a life saver!
What do you like best about the product?
I love the integration that Grammarly has with Slack and Gmail. Catches errors instantly and does all the work for me. Super grateful for this app!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I find slightly annoying is the tiny widget that is hard to move and re-position while using Slack. It's in the same spot that other Slack features are placed.

Catching simple mistakes I would otherwise not see.
