Couldn't properly do my job without Grammarly
What do you like best about the product?
As a content marketer, my job involves lots of writing every day, and Grammarly is my side-kick that helps me make sure everything is as perfect as possible. My favorite features:
- The grammar & spelling checker to make sure my copy is error-free
-The ability to set Goals and make sure the copy fits our brand tone and voice
-The Chrome extension so I can work wherever I want. It's even checking my copy here in G2!
-The ability to add terms that are specific to our product to Knowledge Share - this helps other people on our team use them in the correct way.
-The latest AI features that help get my ideas flowing when I'm stuck
Overall it's easy and intuitive to use. I'm pretty reliant on Grammarly at this point and it would be a huge pain to work without it. Whenever I switch jobs, I always propose it as a tool that is needed on the marketing team.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides. One thing that has annoyed me is that sometimes the Chrome extension widget inside the text box will block my text, so I can't see my copy fully. I then have to power it off just so I can see what I'm doing.
Another small problem I've run into is when I dismiss a suggestion in Google Docs and then refresh the Google Doc, that suggestion will reappear. This may be a setting issue though, that I can fix. I need to look into it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before Grammarly, I would have to have to spend hours more carefully proofreading my copy. And I'd have a coworker review my copy as a second pair of eyes to ensure everything was correct. I would also have to analyze my text to see if it was the proper tone and voice. Grammarly now does all those things for me, ultimately saving me tons of time every workday. I now have more time to create copy, and I spend less time reviewing.

The best parts of grammerly are the automated spellcheck, which rarely misses anything, and the suggested edits for confusing sentences. These make my edit and review process so much faster, and keep me from sending out low-quality communication.

Sometimes grammerly nitpicks a bit too much on longer texts, or informal texts. I don't ALWAYS want my writing to come across as formal.

Great for the whole org!
What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly has been super helpful in catching weird sentences and typos. I like how I can just turn it on when I'm on other peoples Google docs and it'll Comb the doc for errors and how to improve it.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point in time, Grammarly has been slow at catching typos and mispunctuation. I don't know what happened but I'll be typing and seeing some obvious errors after the fact, but in Grammarlys end it'll say "nothing wrong."

Punctuation is something I struggle with, as well as clunky sentences and writing in passive voice. Sometimes I need to but I appreciate Grammarly being able to catch that stuff.
