  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Grammarly offers simplicity and reliability, ensuring that my writing process is smooth and efficient. The intuitive suggestions are really obvious and helpful, and I think the cross-platform and cross-application integration is fantastic; it keeps my workflow consistent without slowing me down. Being able to use Grammarly as a fast oral delivery person who isn't as fast at typing, it really supports my use of high-level complicated language. The way it integrates into various tools like ScreenPal, Canvas, Adobe Acrobat, MS collaboration suite, Zoom, and email, including Google Docs, is seamless. It works harmoniously with AI tools like those from Anthropic and Google Gemini. Setting up Grammarly was a piece of cake, which made the whole process even more appealing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think seeing a potential perception suggestion and how language adaptations impact the audience could be helpful, especially if the other side uses AI to do so.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly improves my writing speed and quality with intuitive suggestions. It integrates well across platforms, keeping my writing consistent and efficient, even with complex language. It's reliable, accessible, and simplifies my professional work as a college professor.

What do you like best about the product?
It is invaluable for catching minor errors (such as missing commas) and making recommendations to improve my writing's clarity, concision, and ease of understanding. I have been using Grammarly since 2017, and it has consistently improved to the point where almost all of the recommendations are spot-on. Whether I am writing an email, memo, or blog post, I rely on this product to help improve my writing so I can focus on content.

I tried this for text messages and really did not like it (too busy and disruptive), but aside from that, there is nothing else that I dislike.

Transforms Writing with Clarity and Confidence Instantly

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is an amazing tool! It helps make my writing clearer and more polished within moments. Though I would prefer not to have grammar and spelling mistakes, this tool identifies them and offers corrections and suggestions for more appropriate wording. When finished, I can communicate more professionally. The real-time feedback is simple, helpful, and easy to apply, whether I’m writing an email, a document, or something more formal. Grammarly is a great tool for improving clarity and confidence in my writing.
What do you dislike about the product?
As helpful as Grammarly is, there are occasions when the suggestions sound less like my own voice and far too formal or overly polished. The free version is fairly limited, so many of the stronger features require a subscription. There are also limitations with some theological language that is frequent in my writing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most obvious is that Grammarly catches grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors that are easy to overlook. It also helps identify unclear or wordy sentences that could be tightened for better readability.

One surprising, but appreciated element is that it offers stylistic suggestions that help keep the tone consistent with my career field. My writing now comes across clearer, more polished, and more confident.

Whether it is a letter, an email, or a presentation, Grammarly helps me reduce the time spent and increase my confidence when sending or publishing my writing.

Grammarly: Ubiquitous and Effortless Writing Enhancer

  • December 10, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how Grammarly has become more integrated into the software that I use, not just in a cloud writing tool like Google Docs, but in things that live locally on my computer or email construction, and even on my phone. It is invisible, and you don't have to launch something new, but it's consistently available in all the tools that I use most regularly. Grammarly is the backbone that's helping me think more clearly, write more succinctly, and avoid some of the things that would be pretty easy for me to get tripped up on. It's helped me be more intentional about phrasing more broadly and maintaining consistency throughout a talk or a document, and the tool is really good at avoiding common grammar and spelling mistakes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that Grammarly is regularly trying to incorporate more and more AI features into the way that it works, especially in content generation. I think that will continue to help. And hopefully find ways to not just write something, but also brain where you have something that incorporates your own voice as a communicator into the type of brainstorming or suggestions for phrasing that it offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Grammarly to avoid grammar and spelling mistakes and to think more clearly. It helps me write succinctly and maintain consistency in my documents, serving as a backbone for my writing.
