My honest review of using grammarly as a student
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using Grammarly for about a year for school essays, college applications, and even messages to teachers and honestly, it’s been really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It makes the text sound like it's not me typing the message and the text feels ai generated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Catches dumb grammar and spelling mistakes I always miss, especially when I’m writing fast at 2 AM.

I love that it notices more than just spelling mistakes, but can notice passive voice and when tenses don't line up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it glitches and doesn't work on Google Docs, so I have to go to the website. I wish the website and docs add-on showed the same thing.

It helps me polish my papers and make my e-mails professional.

I really like how easy Grammarly makes it to catch small mistakes that I usually overlook. The suggestions are simple to understand, and the tool integrates smoothly with most applications I use. It saves me a lot of editing time and makes my writing look more polished and confident.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Grammarly’s suggestions feel too strict or unnecessary, especially when I want to keep my own writing style or tone. A few advanced features are only available in the premium version, which can be limiting for free users. Also, it doesn’t always pick up on very context-specific language or industry terms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Grammarly helps me save time by quickly catching grammar, spelling, and tone issues in my writing. It ensures that emails, reports, and documents look professional and clear before I send them out. This not only improves communication with clients and colleagues but also reduces the chances of misunderstandings. Having an AI writing assistant also boosts my confidence, as I know my writing is error-free and easy to read.

What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. Integrates well across applications/documents/browsers. AI checker is a plus. Simple to implement the changes.

It slows me down while working on a lengthy document, especially in MS Word.

I use it for writing academic reports and papers. It also helps me with email writing. The automatic suggestions for sentence restructuring work best for me. Sometimes it also helps in checking plagiarism.

It's a real time-saver, and the tone detection feature works exceptionally well, making it very helpful. I no longer have to worry about my grammar or spelling.

Useful and no fuss application
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using grammarly since my UG days and still continue to use in my professional life. This itself is big evidence of how useful I have found it over the years. In short it made my life easy. To me it's a no-nonsense app which provides just the required solution.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about grammarly is a lot of things. First, it helps in real-time. The add on feature which hovers around my desktop always, catches typos and other grammatical errors. Especially when I am on a deadline and cannot afford to write fluently and check everything, it saves me time.
Second, it helps me communicate better. It makes the flow readable. Particularly, its feature which allows me to set the tone in which I want to rephrase allows me to rephrase the way I want to.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike is not many things. Sometimes it becomes too much to see. The changes suggested are redundant and even unnecessary. While rare, it misses the context behind the sentence, rephrasing in a tone I did not intend it to be.

As a legal professional whose first language is not English, Grammarly helps ensure that my writing conveys exactly what I intend. For example, while writing this answer, it suggested I change 'my mind intends' to 'I intend,' which made my statement sound more confident (a valuable quality in the legal field). With Grammarly handling the mechanical aspects such as catching typos, formatting mistakes, and proofreading, I am able to concentrate more on the legal analysis and the substance of my writing.

What do you like best about the product?
Grammarly is very easy to use. you can use it on any device and only internet connection. its has no learning curve so easy to implement in day to day life. Since I am still working on my official writing skill its very useful to me. It is now integrate with many major platforms like google workspace. so we can frequently use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Grammarly is not 100% accurate till now. it shows many right sentences as wrong. some times the app glitches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use it as my writing assistant. it is very helpful for plagiarism checking as well. since my off time I love to write about technical staff its an incomprehensive tool for me.
