Really short time to value.
What do you like best about the product?
The time savings that it gives my team. They are spending significantly less time triaging noisy false-positive alerts than before.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really like the anomaly detection approach that Lacework champions. That said, I do think there are some general use cases that would benefit from being able to define some more rigid rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a healthcare company security and compliance are incredibly important to us. Lacework is a foundational part of the stance for us.
Extensive cloud infrastructure overview
What do you like best about the product?
Deep visibility into cloud resources and real-time detection of unusual activities make it easier to identify and prioritise vulnerabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Polygraph visualisation seems to be quite resource consuming when zooming out to see all cloud components.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in the cloud infrastructure in order to help prevent security incidents and compliance violations
Great solution for your cloud environment
What do you like best about the product?
It works with behavioral engines that allow the security team to be focused on the suspicious events that matter, reducing the alert fatigue.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not support all cloud providers when it comes to CSPM. They are currently working on new integrations tho, and support the most common CP (Amazon, GCP, Azure)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unknowns in our environment and also it provides visibility and correlation into resources that allow the team to make the right decision when it comes to solving a problem.
A Comprehensive security application.
What do you like best about the product?
The scanning of all the services and providing the severity based on the different criteria. The polygraph feature which shows the entire mapping of all the resources provides a broader picture of the application communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email for the summary should have a better header and not just support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The container security and mapping of application. The cloud compliance and alert notification in regard to the urgency of the event are really helpful. Finally, the scanning of the images is a useful way of looking at security.
Great tool w/ fast support

Their alerting system is always extremely accurate, and can be customized to fit your needs perfectly. Moreover, the devoted support staff is highly-responsive, knowledgeable and always there to help with any issues you may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the user interface is undoubtedly not very intuitive and may leave you wanting more, the good news is that the support team is on the ball and extremely responsive to any issues you may encounter. Their efficiency in addressing concerns should give comfort in the meantime.

Lacework Review
What do you like best about the product?
That it can be integrated with other security tools and services, which makes it easier for us users. In addition, if you need assistance, support responds pretty fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacework provides many out of the box security policies. However, these require fine-tuning. This is understandable as every company is different. It would be nice to have some that do not require fine-tuning.

It's providing us automatic alerts to our cloud environment that have not been configured correctly.

Our cloud exposure. Keeping our cloud environment up to date and relevant. Ensuring that every container and cloud aspect is in compliance has been important.
Great security product to cover most of your deployment
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive. I came to a new company with the deployment already in place, and I was impressed by how easy it was to navigate. They are definitely presenting the product as a potential all-in-one solution for most of your development and deployment, as well as compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their technology has sometimes been lacking. The initial reason my company deployed them was also what failed. The "extras" at a favorable price were why we went ahead and kept the solution in place until we found a different tool for the reason we wanted Lacework to begin with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our original deployment was Kubernetes security. It failed to meet our needs, with the agent causing excessive cycles on the servers deployed. We kept it for network security and compliance, which it did well but that wasn't a high value-add.
Lacework a great tool that provides cloud security and visibility
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Lacework in our organization is that it gives developers and us insight in the protection and security of our cloud enviroment, which we previously didn't have. Within our organization we use different cloud enviroments and Lacework brings all of this together and we can give the responsibilities of our security standard to the developers. Is gives comprehensive cloud security, is easy to use and the onboarding of the different teams can easily be done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacework can be complex for some users / developers. Because it still requires a certain level of technical knowledge and expertise to be fully utilized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework helped solve the problem of not having insight in our cloud environment within our organization. Furthermore, Lacework helped with identifying security threats and monitor the compliance of our cloud environments.
