Great visibility of all security incidents, core file modifications, socket connections and policy compliance in one place. Consolidating alerts from multiple environments in one conole
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometime alerts are false positive. Policies should be adjusted or disabled per company security policy.
Proactive 0 day insights are required and expected from such a platform.

Additionally, Lacework provides a range of security capabilities, including threat detection, vulnerability management, compliance monitoring, and incident response, all in one platform.

Lacework is a powerful cloud security platform that can help organizations protect their cloud environments effectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does take some practice to narrow down what you want to see in your dashboards and results but this is not any different in any other platform that I or my team have used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Complexity

What do you like best about the product?
Relatively straightforward setup using the provided Helm chart. Low friction to reconfigure and the dashboard is quite friendly to use.

Some of the insights aren't as in-depth as we would like, but since we are primarily interested in a wider range of coverage this is less of a concern.

Lacework is great in some areas while needs improvements in others

  • February 23, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Anomaly-based detection works well with certain types of environments. For example, our environment has many changes deployed to it daily. At the same time, it is pretty locked down, meaning no human is allowed except in emergencies.
2. Lightweight. We don't see any performance/scalability issues between environments with Lacework and without.
3. Cost-effective, compared to many of the offerings on the market.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Delays in detection. Because of the underlying approach, the detections tends to have a delay up to an hour.
2. Manually configured alerts are not working for us. There seems to be bugs in the feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Workload protection improves our security monitoring.
