Great automated cloud security platform
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, friendly and meaningful web interfaces, excellent reporting system helping us to monitor and stay compliant. The team is fabulous and always available to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many compliance reports to choose from, and the initial setup can be complex for the uninitiated. It's also sometimes hard to keep track of all the alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help a lot by automating the compliance checks of our different cloud subscriptions. The IT team is notified if someone makes a change that isn't up to the best practices.

into the cloud using cloud-native's best practice approach for secure deployments.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike but pricing for a small-businesses is little too much and should be re-considered in such a way that a free-trial or some credits should be provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our DevOps ecosystem is completed using Lacework. We have secure our pods running GKE containers using this tool which is a great boon for a cloud consultant like me who needs to store
customers data in a secured manner. It also helps with security audit.

Good product at a high price
What do you like best about the product?
Lacework is pretty easy to use once set up; however, some integrations can be complex. The team is easy to work with for the most part. Competitors can generally cover part of the Lacework functionality but would typically need more than one vendor/system to replace all of what Lacework has to offer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is relatively high compared to comparable products. Some employees do not take feedback well. It would be helpful to have more accurate planning capabilities for the resources needed to ensure pricing was proper for actual needs. Regarding employees, regular check-ins from account managers could help catch issues sooner and prevent difficulties down the road.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Vulnerability scanning and compliance management. Benefits have been mediocre and, while functional, didn't always equal the expense. It has filled a performance gap but, again, one that other systems could also fill.

Instrumental in our cloud compliance journey!
What do you like best about the product?
We now better understand our cloud compliance with NIST and can more clearly see our gaps. The team is responsive and helpful. They have great instructions on how to remediate non-compliances and vulnerabilities.
We have also deployed some agents and can see vulnerabilities and more visibility of all the packages running on our VMs.
Also it is great that we can use SSO for access.

Sometimes the layout can be confusing, especially when new policies/ features are added.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cloud environment hardening.
One stop shop for compliance
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of navigation and clarity in the dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
While they have an S3 data export process, it would be nice if you could just export event logs from within the dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with alerting and compliance. If it were also a SIEM, it would be even better.
Constatly Worrying about your DevOps security?
What do you like best about the product?
Lacework is the tool that we are using at the Greatminds to detect anomalies, review container security, and threats to the 3rd party packages. This tool is helping us to detect most of the security vulnerabilities and thus making us work on security direction therefore the business can be very much secure!
What do you dislike about the product?
the number of vulnerabilities we see from the tool to our app is always evolving its a constantly arbitrary target that we are trying to eliminate to almost 100% but seems like we will always have to keep on fixing the threats. But I don't think it's a point to dislike. The application needs to be improved per day in terms of security
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework is helping us in identifying the business critical security threats to the application. It's a tool on which we can rely in identifying security vulnerabilities and detecting anomalies completely.
Straight to the point, valuable visibility
What do you like best about the product?
Lacework provides valuable visibility regarding activities occuring in our environment to help detect malicious interactions that might be happening.
Lacework goes beyond and offers container security, and is a great asset overall for a cloud infrastructure.
Detailed logging and reporting regarding Network and Internal Anomalies.
Valuable vulnerability management visibility inside Containers & Hosts

Valuable vulnerability management visibility inside Containers & Hosts
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not dislike anything at the moment. I would like a cleaner filtering system for container vulnerabilities, but the current state is not bad.
No response capabilities

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lacework helps provide visibility and acts well as an IDS. On top of everything, it helps us keep an eye on outdated components within our hosts/containers.
Their alert policies are clear and also offer compliance checks.

Impressed with overall coverage provided by Lacework across multiple public clouds
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to visualize cloud security posture in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the detection capabilities could be better. More along the lines of behavioral detection for endpoints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing single pane of reference for all the public clouds and compliance reporting framework.
