Top data-sync SaaS
What do you like best about the product?
ease of use of the product. Very large connector list. Simplifies the whole Extraction process and data-engineering work.
What do you dislike about the product?
performance of some loading queries and processes can be more fine tuned according to the destination datawarehouse
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enabling faster and easier data extraction from multiple sources of data into a single datawarehouse repository. It is super beneficial as it replaces some data-engineering positions at a lower price for the work the tool does.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it is the tool to go to for when using modern ELT architecture

Good but need more customisation

It sync seamlessly between 2 databases.

Less customisation like frequency for one specific table.

Fivetran integrated with Atlassian's Jira in a few minutes. Literally.
The overview of the current jobs and their status is easy and presented simply and efficiently on the UI.
The jobs that have problems running are being re-queued automatically, with notifications being sent to me.

There seem to be quite a few jobs not being run when I expect them to run.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a very small team who needs to manage our efforts efficiently. Having Fivetran helped us get the most out of our team in a very short period of time.
great platform for connecting datastores
What do you like best about the product?
turnkey connections to SFDC and Postgres on the ingest side, and snowflake/redshift/postgres on the output side
What do you dislike about the product?
we've often hit the limits of their auto ingest for postgres, which makes us have to do dev work, which defeats the purpose

get data out of production servers into analytics servers without eng effort

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Fivetran comes with many built in connectors that can be extremely quick to set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Fivetran does not expose very much of the backend of their process. When a connector breaks or fails you must rely largely on their support team to solve issues.

My company uses Fivetran to help our clients get their data into one place where it can be accessed with ease.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the interface and how it tends to be effectively utilized by any client with no specialized foundation. The astonishing client benefit is one of the significant things that I generally point to when I consider fivetran's administration. Any investigating messages or inquiries that we may have are constantly replied at a greatly mindful group, regardless of whether it is an inquiry to our AM or a specialized issue that may even be grabbed by one of the originators. What do you dislike about the product?
Periodic delays do happen and there's occasionally no genuine great clarification for it. This program has enabled me to deal with a dominant part of my major ETL mixes without really writing or keep up any code. What do you like best about the product?
With jut a few clicks, I can set up a data pipeline. Google sheets for example, can flow smoothly to your db, you can set up a sync frequency and you don't have to think about data updation, etc - with no coding involved
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much - on a bit of an expensive side though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lets data from difference sources flow into our DB for analytics. Don't have to get into ETL processes too much
