Comprehensive tracker for being compliant with information security
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass has a very structured way of categorizing info security requirements and ensuring that the organization thoroughly understands the needs. Also, it provides a good user experience to track the requirements and see real-time progress on items/tasks accomplished.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be better if Thosopass integrated with 3rd party authentication. Also, it is sometimes difficult to find items, so it would be good to have the task ID exposed in the playbook dashboard and search items/tasks by task ID.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass ensures that the product built by the organization is compliant with various information security standards. It allows the organization to monitor different information security standards across the globe, so if the product needs to be launched in another jurisdiction, it makes it easier for organizations like ours to focus on the info security adopted by that jurisdiction.

Great Security Online Platform for Technology Startups
What do you like best about the product?
The platform was easy to use, intuitive and allowed us to get started after a few tutorials from the Laika team. It also had great templates which helped us with our policy and procedure creation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is still a hefty one for startup companies and some of the templates are expert friendly so we had to hire a fractional CISO to help us understand some of the templates and complete them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laika solved the problem of providing a guide for the security process, for us, it was SOC 2 Certification, a place to store all of our artifacts and a document repository that was secure and easy for our team to use.
Recommend Laika for their excellent human touch resources
What do you like best about the product?
The Roadmap is really helpful to have action items to work through. And the best about Laika is their human expert to talk to when going through our processes and documentation
What do you dislike about the product?
For people that are completely new to SOC II, it might make things a lot easier to show industry-standard process examples. Not only one that satisfied the auditing of SOC II but the recommended standard that most companies should follow.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laik is solving the problem for us to reach SOC II compliance. In preparation for a lot of partnerships with other companies, this is sometimes a requirement to begin any integration works
They really care about their customers
What do you like best about the product?
The team really cares and put in a lot of work to help us get our SOC II Type II audit. There were several occasions where I messed something up and the team hopped on a call and helped me get it fixed. SOC II is complicated, but it's significantly easier to navigate with great people like RJ, Kristal, and Jennifer to help out.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform could definitely use some work on ergonomics. It can be a bit tedious sometimes, but nothing too bad.

What do you like best about the product?
User-friendly compliance platform for first-time users. Excellent customer support to help you understand the compliance framework.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be helpful to have a compliance architect once in a while in biweekly checkings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laika helps implement SOC2 and ISO27001 for the company.
I couldn't have imagined working towards our certification without Laika!

The way Laika simplifies compliance requirements into digestible parts AND comes along with a kmowledgable consultant in case I have questions make it so helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
What's not to like?!? But in the spirit of feedback, I'd say it would be great to see from an Admin or Project manager view who still has tasks remaining to work on. The team has had no issues navigating the software and picked it up quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was new to understanding the ISO27001 requirements, so when we started using Laika and it took me through Step-by-step and it saved me so much time I would have spent researching and allowed me to focus on the tasks at hand.

Laika’s document editing interface takes time to get accustomed to.

The framework and resources that Laika provides allow companies to improve their security posture and achieve SOC2 compliance in a predictable timeframe.
HIPAA streamlined and easy
What do you like best about the product?
Streamlines HIPAA and makes becoming compliant a lot more feasible, especially for a smaller startup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having more templates would be beneficial.

Great personalization
What do you like best about the product?
Working with Joe and Vince has made all of the difference. They are helpful, friendly, and take the time to actually understand what we need — instead of just selling. Laika has been very flexible and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The old layout of Laika was a bit confusing. The new layout is much better, but moving documents over has been a little bit of a challenge. Otherwise the platform is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Laika has helped us solve compliance and make sure that we have all of our ducks in a row. Its incredibly simple. One person has been able to manage the vast majority of all our compliance.
A bit of confusion and slow progress

Our consultant is very helpful with any questions I ask. She is concise and to the point.

This may just be my prior non-experience talking, but the whole SOC2 compliance process is utterly confusing.
