What do you like best about the product?
Great software, responsive managers. AI check of submitted documents is my favourite feature,

At some point we have been waiting couple of days longer for the audit statements to be issued. But that was ok.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that the setup process of Thoropass was straightforward due to its automatic features, clear process, and helpful meetings. The UI and questionnaire provide a smooth experience without any issues. It effectively monitors for SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, which is essential for my industry. I value the professional continuity and the preparedness of the team, making it an ideal choice for compliance needs.

Thoropass ensures SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, aligning with industry needs by providing constant monitoring and a seamless setup with a clear process.
Efficient, Knowledgeable, and Supportive
What do you like best about the product?
My rep Herson was very quick to respond to my questions. The platform organizes all tasks, evidence requests, and deadlines in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the exact format or file type required feels unnecessarily strict.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Offer hands-on help with documentation, evidence gathering, and audit prep.
Thoropass - a great team and a simple roadmap for Soc 2 completion
What do you like best about the product?
I had 0 security experience and was able to get our company compliant within 3 months by following the simple roadmap within the system and meeting weekly with our fantastic dedicated CSMs. We just easily completed our Type II attestation and the audit is a breeze. I never have to leave the platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
As a startup we aren't on many of the most popular software types that have integrations with Thoropass. This means we did have to do a little more screenshotting of systems rather than just easily sending info in.
If you use AWS or any major software systems Thoropass probably has you covered, but it wasn't very helpful to us based on our current stage.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass is the reason we have our Soc 2 reports and can share them with users in a secure manner. It made it easy to get compliant while having 0 personal experience on our team. The recurring audits that are held within the system allow us to keep up to date and the data room / trust center let's us share these documents with sales prospects without worrying about any risks.
A smooth and accessible SOC 2 audit experience with Thoropass
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass made the SOC 2 process very smooth, straightforward, and accessible. What would have required significant effort and research on our part was made easy and clear on what we needed to do to attain our SOC 2 Type 2 compliance. Their customer support was excellent. They were responsive to every question, guided us through each step of the process with great communication and tracking, and had good educational resources for us to learn about the process. Between their customer support and online portal, our evidence collection process and engagement with our auditor was stress free. Their portal, integrations, and templates also significantly reduced the time investment needed for drafting our policies, collecting evidence, and tracking our security controls. Overall, we were very pleased with having chosen Thoropass as our compliance platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of much to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a small company and were new to the SOC 2 audit process. We needed a direct, stress free engagement for a good rate that fit our limited resourcing capacity. Thoropass gave us exactly that. Now we are confident we can handle future audits with Thoropass's help and are excited that we can now offer secure solutions to our customers.
Out of caveman times and into the future!
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass truly moved our company into the future. Prior, we were still using an in-person firm that would take months of time to prepare for our SOC audit. With Thoropass, not only has their system been an absolute breeze, but it has saved us countless hours of time. By the time we were ready to undergo our SOC 2, everything had already been filled in and ready to go with all the systems we have integrated. It makes the process such a breeze! We love having a dedicated rep to help answer any questions we have at any point, they are always so friendly and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's honestly hard to find a downside, because we love Thoropass so much! I believe we may have had one system that wasn't available to integrate when we initially signed up, but they are constantly improving their system to add additional integrations and make the process seamless and we now have everything integrated that we need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass has saved us literal weeks of time on our SOC audit, their system is so seamless and after getting everything set up, it's almost like our SOC audit just completes itself. We used to have to spend months of prep time and a week or more of auditors being in-person, taking up immense time out of our schedules. It's been the biggest time saver! It's also helped us clean up our policies to be more streamlined and secure.
Thoropass is a must to get SOC-1 and/or SOC-2
What do you like best about the product?
Thoropass is absolutely incredible; their platform is powerful, intuitive, and efficient. Patrick’s guidance and support were exceptional from start to finish. We genuinely couldn’t have achieved SOC 1 without their expertise, dedication, and seamless process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing negative springs to mind. Even when there was an issue connecting their platform to our Amazon Web Services account, they resolved it in the blink of an eye.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thoropass streamlined and centralized our entire SOC 1 compliance process, eliminating guesswork and reducing the time spent coordinating evidence and documentation. Their platform and expert guidance gave us clarity, confidence, and efficiency—turning what could have been a stressful, error-prone process into a smooth and well-structured journey.
SOC-2 Type I & II for B2B SaaS Startup
What do you like best about the product?
I like that they have a dedicated customer success manager that guides our team to successfully complete the steps required to obtain SOC-2 compliance. The bi-weekly meetings are super helpful and they make it easy with their intuitive dashboard to complete tasks and track progress.
What do you dislike about the product?
We haven't experienced any downsides. The only thing is that some of the compliance steps are a bit redundant and repetitive, but that is the nature of compliance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us achieve SOC-2 Type I & II compliance certification to better service our enterprise customers.
Thoropass is a solid all in one audit platform
What do you like best about the product?
It's integration capabilities make it easy to automatically retrieve evidence, shortening the time involved in gathering and providing supporting data.
What do you dislike about the product?
We were an early adopter before it was Thoropass we've had some initial growing pains with incomplete features or features not working as expected due migration issues before Hey Laika became Thoropass. These issues have largely slowed down and the platform has stabilized, and existing features are being improved constantly. Customer support has been helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We work in a heavily regulated industry and have to comply with multiple compliance frameworks.Thoropass makes it easy to centrally manage the compliance aspect of all these frameworks.
On demand, thought partners
What do you like best about the product?
Wasn't cookie cutter. Felt like they understood the stage of our business and how to help us get what we needed. Felt like thought partners in how to get the important things done and who to get in touch with for resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboard/interface had some onboarding (ex, risk register).
