Good end to end encryption with excellent features
What do you like best about the product?
The end to end encryption is great. It's a very secure product. Virtru also has new features to do secure file shares, which is very helpful. The ability to revoke a message or check the status of a message is great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The messages are very secure so sometimes printing sent messages may be a challenge since the print windows can't read the secure message; you have to copy and paste.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to send secure messages internally and externally. We have the ability to check the status of sent email messages and have the ability to send and receive large files.

"Virtru: The Best Email Security and Encryption Solution"
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru encrypts emails, which is important to my security. The Cloud can be very dangerous without Virtru email encryption software. Competitors don't go through as many verification procedures.
What do you dislike about the product?
The least helpful thing about Virtru is that it secures or encrypts emails. Securing or encrypting emails is one of the downsides of using Virtru because of its inconvenience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru is solving the problem of securing my emails, benefiting me by keeping me safe and secure. My business performance has increased, in that, I don't have to worry about losing sensitive data/information. I am also more productive, but also safe and secure.
Virtru, it works, and its easy enough for salespeople to use.
What do you like best about the product?
once setup its just another email app or a button to toggle on or off for our users, making it a simple thing to get them to use it there is minimal setup compared to other products i have used in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
it sometimes asks you to re-authenticate your virtru which can confuse the users, most of the time at least 3 months after the last time they sent an encrypted email (Though i cant confirm).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes customers will email us sensitive data, to prevent this we send them encrypted emails when sending them paperwork so if they send it back with data instead of Faxing (per instructions) it protects it until it is deleted by our PII screening process.

Some outlook clients (Outlook 2016) locked up loading the addon, had to disable

Nothing I dislike other than it takes a few seconds to open up.

Sometimes the difference between Personal Intro and the secure body is a little clunky to implement

It is essential to encrypt and protect online patient information and Virtru allows you to do that securely and confidently.

The payment per month is higher than I would like.

It's straightforward to use when you need to send emails containing sensitive information.

It doesn't work with Firefox. It would be better if it worked across all browsers.

The problem of needing to send sensitive information over email. I'm glad to have a way to do that with confidence.
Using Virtru allows for secure control over an email message.

The ability to "pull back" and email after it has been sent. Basically gives us the ability to cancel the content or invalidate the email content at any time as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
If the recipient is not a Virtru user, their onboarding could be a chore for non-tech savvy older users. Having them install the add-on or use something outside of their native email application is difficult at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru allows our staff to send private data encrypted to the recipient. And gives us the ability to "cancel" or "pull back" the message if the content is no longer valid.

What do you like best about the product?
Helpful in sending secure documents to patients via email such as lab reports and other HIPAA related info.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have to reinstall it. Could be a problem with my work computer however

I can't send messages through my EMR so virtru allows me to do this securely through email
