Virtru
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru does a great job on keeping our emails private.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downfall I can think of is sometimes you have to sign back in.

Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Virtu is very easy and straight foward to use. It is also easy for the recipient to decrypt. I have no complaints!
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess if I had to name one thing is sometimes the email does not send right away and you have to go in your drafts to make sure it sent. But doesn't happen always.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it very easy to send encrypted emails to protect patient information.

Most useful is ease of deploy. Being able to use in gmail and outlook

Constantly having to reactivate. Just an extrastep a user has to take sometimes.

ease of use for end user (sender and recipient), cost. It was easy to integrate with our existing environment, quick to be adopted by end users, and is currently in wide use across our organization.

admin tools are a bit clunky for enterprise product

Securing attachments and content, protecting our internal data.
Seamless integration into Google Workspace email accounts for secure emailing
What do you like best about the product?
This software is so easy to install and use. It's absolutely perfect for Gmail. One click of a button secures any email message, and the recipient doesn't have to have any special software to open it on the receiving end, either!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't really think of any downsides. We love this software!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We operate a HIPAA-related business with distributed staff, so private health and client information is exchanged electronically every day, including court filings and medical/financial records. Having an easy to use and problem-free software plug-in for our email is invaluable to us.
Virtru is Wonderful
What do you like best about the product?
That it integrates nicely with Google Workspace, is simple and easy to use and works exceptionally well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to see Virtru available for more email provider platforms and for personal (non-business) / individual use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a state funding agency who required our company to always communicate with them with encrypted emails and after lengthy homework searching for the best encrypted email solution that's secure and user-friendly, we narrowed down our selections to Virtru as our choice.
Works great to encrypt emails though wont work well with aliases
What do you like best about the product?
Works seamlessly to encrypt emails with very little training required by staff, all is needed is to install a browser plugin.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesnt work with aliases for example if a users primary account is jon@widgets.com and someone sends an encrypted email to their alias jondoe@widgets.com they will not be able to open the email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Protecting PHI for our company is paramount and Virtru allows us to send PHI over email securely.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to integrate this software into your current patient communication. It turned our regular email into a safe, HIPAA-compliant method of speaking with patients. There are great tools such as unsend, retracting information, and a user-friendly interface that makes it easy to organize the office.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the service goes out and we have to refresh our browser.

We need to be able to send and receive PII from patients and other offices.
