Secure & Easy Email Encryption Integrated with Gmail
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Virtru Email Encryption is built into Google and Gmail, making it easy to use. The initial setup was also easy and quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are troubles with second parties, third parties opening the mail sometimes and, occasionally, we get signed out for unknown reasons and can struggle to sign back in at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru Email Encryption keeps our emails confidential and HIPAA compliant.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Virtru Email Encryption is easy and convenient to use. I really like that it comes on automatically with my email, which makes sending encrypted documents electronically a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some families have issues opening it because it makes them put in a password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Virtru Email Encryption to easily and securely send legal documentation electronically, especially for confidential IEP/504 plans.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes sending encrypted emails extremely easy, and I feel confident sending private information through emails with Virtru.
What do you dislike about the product?
Quite often, the extension will not work and needs to be reinstalled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They allow us to send emails containing private client information securely. I don't want anyone outside the intended recipient to access the information that Virtru helps protect.

The plug-in is particularly beneficial as it serves as a handy reminder to assess when encryption is necessary, aided by an easy switch and helpful push notifications that prompt me to decide if the information should be encrypted. Additionally, I found the initial setup straightforward and simple, requiring just a basic installation and easy dissemination for others to implement, ensuring swift deployment across our team.

Seamless Email Encryption with Excellent Admin Control
What do you like best about the product?
It grants us admins complete control over emails sent. The Support team is very prompt in their response time. We use it almost every day to encrypt our data-sensitive emails. It is easily implemented as it is integrated within our Gmail inbox itself—other features of Virtru, like recalling the email, restricting the email forwarding, are amazing

I don't think there is anything least or not helpful about Virtru. It does pretty much everything it is meant for

I appreciate the simplicity of setting up Virtru Email Encryption with my email. I found it straightforward and encountered no challenges. I love how reliable it is for securing email attachments, which is crucial for my work with hospitals and health systems. Ensuring files are secure is vital, and Virtru allows me to send files safely without worrying about being flagged by firewalls due to file size. Additionally, I find the integration with Gmail to be seamless, as it’s easy to use and allows me to select when to use it. The security it provides for sending emails is indispensable, making my workflow more efficient. The ease of use and reliable functionality are reasons I would consider purchasing Virtru Email Encryption again. My positive experiences with it are further reflected in my high likelihood of recommending it to others, giving it a rating of 9 out of 10.

Email Encryption successes
What do you like best about the product?
I love the confidentiality Virtru provides. I am a SpEd Secretary and constantly need to communicate confidential material to other teachers, school district employees, and parents. Virtru can be trusted and it is very easy to install and use with confidence. It's a great service to use when it comes to safeguarding students sensitive data. I feel good that there is a system I can trust and is easy to use to share this data. I hate to think about being the reason sensitive data getting into the wrong hands. Thanks to Virtru I don't have to worry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike about Virtru is getting pushback from teachers that opening a Virtru encrypted email is difficult. In the majority of these situations teachers have not taken the 5 minutes to learn the system. It literally takes only a few minutes to learn Virtru and only a few extra seconds to open a secure email.
The other problem I have run into is with sending large attachments/data, it sometimes takes a more time to send.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I feel safe using Virtru. I send sensitive data multiple times daily through emails. I would hate for that data to get into the wrong hands. Virtru gives me the added security and peace of mind that this will never happen.

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part about Virtru email encryption is that it's automatic. I dont have to constantly toggle it on.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I will have to turn the extension back on to get virtru activated again.

Virtru helps me keep clients names and information confidential.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use by simply clicking a button and your email is encrypted.

Older people have a hard time opening encrypted emails.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I send health information to patient's and I do not have to worry about their information being easily accessible. With Encryption their info is protected.
Great product for secure sharing and email exchange
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru solved our problem to secure email exchange and file sharing requiring FedRAMP level of protection. It integrates easily with other tools like Outlook or Entra ID authentication. It is simple to implement and use and the support is great to help.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does require a manual sign out when traveling abroad to stop the connection and doesn't have a way to geo-fence IPs at the moment. The product is constantly evolving and fixing the few missing features that we observed so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtru allows us to securely exchange with our customers when working on project requiring FedRAMP level of protection while not having to worry about the burden of hosting such a solution ourselves.
