What do you like best about the product?
The setup was straightforward, and the interface is user-friendly. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my communications are fully protected.

Reliable for Email Encryption Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how Virtru Email Encryption ensures my emails are sent with encryption, which is crucial for maintaining security in my communications at work. The setup process was straightforward, which made it easy to start using the service seamlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Virtru Email Encryption doesn't log me out automatically, which might require me to use Virtru just to look at my own email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Virtru to send encrypted emails as part of my job, although it doesn't solve specific problems for me.

The price is a bit higher than other companies.

It often will not work, I have to close my email and re-start to be able to send.

Safe, secure for peace of mind
What do you like best about the product?
It is HIPPA compliant reminding you that your email MAY contain information that should be encrypted is helpful. Especially when you are quickly replying to an outside agency. It's easy to participate and maintain and seems to be easy for the recipient to open.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being directed to sign in when reviewing a sent email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It assures our clients that their personal information is safe and in line with HIPPA compliance.
Frustrating Reliability Issues Overshadow Email Security
What do you like best about the product?
Virtru’s email encryption is valuable, and the integration with my email platform is straightforward when it works. Protecting sensitive communication is a key benefit.
What do you dislike about the product?
The service frequently disconnects from my account without notice, causing emails to send blank and recipients to be unable to open them. I must repeatedly uninstall, reinstall, and reconnect the service, which is disruptive. These reliability issues make it difficult to trust Virtru for professional use.

Virtru Email Encryption is designed to protect sensitive information by encrypting emails and attachments, ensuring only intended recipients can access the content. This is highly beneficial for maintaining professional and secure communication. However, in my experience, frequent disconnections from my account and occasional blank emails reduce its reliability, which limits my ability to fully trust it for consistent secure messaging.
Quality and Affordable Email Encryption
What do you like best about the product?
It seamlessly meshes with our gmail, adding a layer of privacy security for our mental health agency business.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally an email recipient will have trouble opening the email or attachments.

Safety and Normalcy
What do you like best about the product?
I love knowing that my patients are safe when we send emails with PHI in them. A necessary step in the field, sending out referrals can be dangerous when sent unguarded. Virtru helps to keep my patient's information private. Just install the extension, and it's like a part of your every day without feeling like an extra step. I use Virtru with almost every email I have sent, daily. It is like second nature to me now, I don't even realize it's there! But I am still thrilled about how easy it is to use, and how hard it works to protect PHI.
What do you dislike about the product?
On occasion, Virtru does not translate well to other users, as some offices do not use it and have issues viewing the encrypted messages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HIPAA compliance is a very important part of what we do, and Virtru is amazing at keeping private information safe.
Effortless Encryption, Secure and User-Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite thing about Virtru Email Encryption is how easy it is to use, really, that's the best part. It was very easy to set up, just like adding an extension to my browser, which was great. I also appreciate that it ensures only the people we send an encrypted email to can access it; it's nice versus the other solutions where forwarded messages could be accessed by anyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I have problems if I use a different browser or I have to switch computers. I wish it was a little easy to integrate it.

I use Virtru Email Encryption to easily send emails with personal or client information securely, ensuring only intended recipients can access it.
Safe and Secure
What do you like best about the product?
Virtu is very easy to use. It does not slow down processes and it is a simply way to secure communication. I have never experienced any technical issues and it is easy to instruct employees how to use it within Gmail.
What do you dislike about the product?
The text of the emails can't be forwarded without the attachments for record keeping purposes.

Virtru is encrypting personal identifying information between different departments and employees.
